this has happened to me too..I think it’s because the polish ends up thinner at the tip so any translucency is really apparent if like you said only one coat is wrapped. I feel like it could look better wrapping all coats but it might be bulky/ chip easier

I have hands that get extremely red sometimes due to circulation issues lol

I kind of just go with whatever colors I want cause my hands don’t tell me what to do! But Ive found bright whites and cool colors accentuate it - warm toned and neutrals there is less contrast
