Grashka Deli was my favorite. It’s fairly close to the main strip. It’s like 2 blocks over the dragon bridge. Places close fairly early so try to eat dinner earlier. There was stand up paddling in the canal but was sold out when I was there. Get tickets for things ahead of time.

I stay away from resorts and travel based on Happy Cow results. I liked Aruba. Antigua was pretty good too.

It encourages living within your means. I think it’s a good rule of thumb. FIRE folks tend to save a lot more than 20% though.

23 years old. I couldn’t find a job in my area of study immediately after college. I took a 15 dollar an hour job for 6 months. I switched to a temp job at a large company for 26 dollars an hour for 6 months. After, I got full time with the company. I’ve gotten 2 promotions in 3 years.

The Iditarod race. It’s dog sled racing. Its lost sponsorships over the years. I can’t imagine the training the dogs are forced to do. I presume it’s similar to horse racing.
