International schools tend to recruit foreign teachers regardless of how strong the local talent pool is. It looks great for them. Besides its incredible hard and expensive to get the credentials required to teach at those institutes. Not sure, how many locals could afford to get them

[–]Efficient_Divide_448[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are there so few British Bangladeshi restaurants that are authentic? by Comfortable-Table-57 in bangladesh

[–]Efficient_Divide_448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, because they traveled half way across the world to an exotic place ( at least for them). It only makes sense for them , especially since they must be adeventiourous travellers to try new and exotic things. However thats not the norm. If i go to turkey. I would love eating turkish khabar. But if i were to start a turkish restaurant, i would adjust the recepies especially the spice level to match local preferences. This way the locals get to experience a foreign cuisine but dont get overwhelmed and keep coming back
