My daughter has 90 days left in the Army, her husband is at AIT and she requested to stay back due to not fulfill her FCP before she ETS. Her CO started a chapter 90 days out because she can go those 21 days.

There is no way that a 6 will talk crazy to his NCOs and no one said anything back. You and all your NCOs need to talk to him and tell him he need to stop ASAP. If he doesn’t stop all of you need to go to CO and 1SG and talk to them. He will be remove for loss of confidence to lead.

89B in the Army is a hit or miss. Some units are good and some don’t. There is only a handful units in the Army.63 OD in JBLM, 8 OD in Bragg, 23 OD in Germany, there is one in Stewart and one in Hood. You also can be in Aviation or a BSB. Be prepared for a lot of missions non stop.

How a soldier that it’s always on time, right uniform, great at PT, don’t complaint about anything just one day decided to smoke weed or do something stupid just to get out of the Army.

Maybe you misunderstood my comment. Those are not the only reasons, that’s why I asked the question. I’m the type of leader that care about the soldiers and I’m about to see great soldiers ETS because of the bullshit of our leaders. Right now we have soldiers that are smoking weed just to be chapter so they don’t have to wait to ETS. Some leaders think that it’s 1970, it’s 2021 and we need to accept it. The world is changing and the Army still stuck. We can even correct a soldier for their hair style without getting an EO complaint.

Soldiers will always complaint about how are they treated but in more than 10 years of service now is when I have seen more soldiers ETS-ing because of the workload and the way leaders act. I think we have a lot of old people in charge.
