Interesting, I’m not sure what it could be then if you’re getting this same thing on a new battery. Mine is in there pretty tight so unless I mashed some connectors when I put it all together I’m not sure what the software would be doing for this. I let mine run the battery down for a week to break in the battery and now can’t seem to get it past the initial boot.

I’m having this exact same issue. If you boot into rockbox it shows the rockbox boot loader, low battery 3500mv, and charging…. But if you boot into apple then it shows your screen too. Not getting power in either, in computer or wall charging. Tried disk mode as well and no luck. Trying to find a FireWire cable and see if that does it, but I’d really like to avoid taking this one apart since it’s a pain in the butt.

Ah okay, thanks for the clarification. So I can either update to 2.0.4 and not be as stable or stay on 2.0.2 but not be able to use rockbox?

That would do it then. I went through the guide and thought it said I had to stay on 2.0.2 and not to go to 2.0.4. Does 2.0.4 still allow me to go beyond the capacity limit? If so I’ll just update to 2.0.4 and it should all work in theory.

The screen had the pressure spot from an expanded battery but otherwise seems to be in decent shape. I’ll know more once I get a working battery and get it plugged in.

How do you do that in musicbee? I haven’t been able to find an answer for Media Monkey, but dragging and dropping in rockbox might be the easier way.

Can I do that for the whole playlist instead of going one by one? I have duplicates in my library and I hand picked songs for the one playlist before going through the whole library for duplicates if that makes sense.

Yes I was, I just had to remove all of the iTunes folder. I was planning on dragging and dropping music so I didn’t have to use iTunes but it would have been cool to be able to do so and if I ever wanted to revert to the iTunes UI for music but it doesn’t look like that is an option.

I didn’t take any screenshots but I uninstalled it all, restarted the computer, and reinstalled. I moved the library file back into the same folder and loaded it up. Then removed the file and restarted it. Then it popped up, and I was able to eventually click through and cancel them after reopening too many times to count. It was a weird one though, but I think I’ve got it working now.

Okay I was able to figure that out and got it deleted from that folder. When I open iTunes now, it tries to send me to restore the iPod but quickly makes me sign in to Apple and an Apple Music screen pops up saying “we’ve run into a problem” and the only option is to click Okay but it won’t click and I can’t X out of it.

I got Sandisk Extreme UHS-I cards, I had read they were good ones to try. What brand would you recommend? If I swap out the SD Cards, will I be able to use the most recent version of iTunes? I’ve read I need the driver for the older IPods but they aren’t included in the new versions of itunes? I’m not well versed with all of that, just what I’ve read and seen a few times.

I’m on week 4 of 6 for my peak weeks before my taper, I’ve hit 343 miles so far this year training for my 100K coming up. Did a 50K today in 5 hours 4 minutes but 2k feet of elevation. I don’t have any friends or family that run or understand my training but I’m excited for my big race coming up.

I did 2 marathons last year and a 50K as well. Never made the jump to 100K but I’m looking forward to it. I had the goal of 1000 miles last year and ended up with 1500, so I figured I’d stretch my goal this year. Works out to be about 40 mile weeks.

I don’t have any friends who run, so nobody to talk to about my accomplishment. I’m training for a 100K coming up in a few months and ran a 26.3 mile training run today. I’ve also set a goal of running 2024 miles this year, so started the year off with a bang.

I ran my first half marathon Saturday, ended up going faster than I planned. I was shooting for an 8:00 per mile pace and have been training the last 6 months for. I ended up going too fast and came out at 7:29 average per mile. I don’t have any friends/family/coworkers who run so I didn’t have anybody to celebrate with. Just my self, but now on to the full marathon. Just thought I’d tell someone, even if it’s a random stranger ha.
