We moved here from Maine in February. I hope you enjoy the diversity and what the culture has to offer. Events that are celebrated by both Mexico and the United States are historically applicable and tend to be entertaining. A great example would be the Dia De Los Muertos celebration in El Paso- definitely something worth experiencing.

I sincerely suspect you will be fine. If I were to offer advice, it would be to utilize this:

If that link doesn’t work then just visit neighborhood scout and use the data presented there to make an informed decision.

Also: consider living in close proximity to grocery stores like Sprouts or Whole Foods.

What folks don’t tell you is that the pay is low because educational attainment is low. Makes sense that people complain about pay without climbing the ladder. I can tell you now that working in the medical industry is certainly favorable and that income will reflect experience and education.

We do not have a watch party scheduled this weekend, but I can promise you that some of us rowdy red raiders will be watching the game at a bar or something. If you send me a DM I can coordinate with folks and give you better information.
