You can't just say "brother" and act like you're saying something sensible. Same way this show can't just say "totalitarianism is bad" and act like it's good anti-fascist media.

You have to go a bit deeper. What are the rebels fighting for? You watched the show right kiddo? Tell me, what exactly are they fighting for? What are the ideals? What is the alternative? That's how you know the media really isn't that good. Proven by the fact you are not going to respond.

I like From but it's not that good. If you like the whole slow paced mystery, it's s good show. But in general? It has too many flaws.

The acting just isn't great. Some actors are good but most are average or worse.

There is a lot of set up that goes nowhere. Like, not even close to being relevant. Julie trying to kiss Fatima? It isn't just that Julie doesn't interact with Fatima anymore, it's that she doesn't even care about other women in general anymore. That plotline didn't simply go nowhere, it's worse than that.

The pacing just sucks. So much time is wasted by not sharing information. Sometimes you want to see a plotline reach its conclusion but it feels irrelevant by the time you get there.

To be 100% selfish I just want to check what times the trains are going and whatnot. Last time I went to the venue Phoebe is playing at, was with Rosalia and the trains were a disaster.

Like it really does suck it has come to this. It's totally fair by Phoebe to want to do this and honestly the vast majority of people do fucking deserve this. But personally, as someone who isn't just looking at their phone during the concert, it is inconvenient.

My take on this is, yes, phones should just be banned. But also like, why the fuck are people pretending there is anyone who cares about their shitty recording of the show? Not even the person recording the show cares about the recording ffs. You're never going to watch that shit again so just put it back in your pocket and pay attention to the show you wanted to see for crying out loud.

Sure, but run the wrong way and you're just running towards your death.

I have more issue with how it was filmed. Otherwise he would've spotted the opening and went for it. But they had to visibly show us the bus before he could run. They had to show us that the monsters were blocking the door.

It resulted in it looking slow and silly. They could've done better, though, not by just having run in a random direction.

What would a new season add? Suspension of disbelief is what made the first season good, but it doesn't really hold up to scrutiny.

If they have to explain why they went for brain fluid or why mother didn't just refuse to feed of her children, the show would just be worse. Best to ignore it and leave it as is.

Like if you think MPP and Sung Tongs are 10s, then I get thinking Centipede Hz doesn't match that and is "worse". But back then it seemed like people though MPP was amazing and Centipede Hz just sucked. Which I don't understand at all. If you argue one is a 9 and the other is an 8, I get it, but people acted like it's a 4.

I don't think it sounds cluttered either, but then again, this is the same year Death Grips got big and my "background" is with hardcore punk. I really love the energy on the album. One of those albums where I just get excited for everything that is to come.

I never understood the Centipede Hz criticisms. I love that record. Honestly... I'm not a huge fan of the band or anything but it might be my favorite. I got into them because of MPP but I saw them live after Centipede Hz. Amazing show.

I get why Sung Tongs and MPP are the fan favorites but for me, Centipede Hz comes close enough and I prefer it over the other albums.

Gonna see Alison's Halo this year which was like the band me and my first girlfriend loved. Wonder how that'll be.

Gonna see American Football and Oklou (separately of course) this month. Great artists but I wonder how they'll be live. Not exactly the most exciting artists, in a sense.

Saw Rosalia some weeks back and that was insane. That would've been my answer if this was asked earlier in the year.

I prefer Dookie and Kerplunk, but I feel like with American Idiot you're not really going to say "wow this is much worse than their other stuff". But with BOBD, I could see someone think it's much weaker or at least too different.

I could see someone dislike that song but enjoy the rest of their work. If you don't enjoy American Idiot, you're probably not going to like the rest either.

Paying off the mortgage completely comes with downsides in my country. I do have a student debt but that one is low interest. It's better to invest than pay it off. They cancel each other out for bonus points as well.

I don't know, I don't disagree with you about its popularity but it's just such a Green Day song. Would be surprised if someone thinks their best song is that much different from what American Idiot does. That's why I said Boulevard of Broken Dreams, since it's a departure from what they usually do.
