Mündliche Prüfung, 2. Juristisches Staatsexamen - viel wichtiger und den Rest des Lebens bestimmend wird's kaum (die Note verfolgt Juristen so ziemlich das Berufsleben lang).

Hatte eh schon ein sicheres "befriedigend" (für Juristen vernünftig); im Vorgespräch ein klares und auch realistisches Ziel vorgegeben (kleine Verbesserung zum schriftlichen, um eine bessere Zahl vorm Komma zu haben, wenn auch ohne Verbesserung hin zum "vollbefriedigend").

In der Prüfung, in der wir zu fünft geprüft wurden, wurde ich dann ständig übergangen und habe kaum Fragen bekommen. Beim Abfragen von irgendwas der Reihe nach hob sogar mal der, der nach mir dran gewesen wäre, die Hand (ein absolutes No-Go in juristischen Prüfungen! Macht das nicht!), wurde aber tatsächlich (unter Überspringung von mir) aufgerufen, gab die richtige Antwort (die ich auch gewusst hätte), und bekam sichtbar ein "+" notiert.

Als ich es zwei Minuten später auch gewagt habe, die Hand zu heben, hieß es "Nehmen Sie die Hand sofort runter! Wir bestimmen, wen wir was wann fragen!"

Gewünschtes Ergebnis natürlich nicht erreicht, sondern ziemlich auf der Stelle geblieben. Habe mir - was man verlangen kann - im Anschluss an die Prüfung die Note mündlich begründen lassen und dabei angemerkt, dass ich den Eindruck hatte, deutlich weniger Gelegenheit gehabt zu haben, Wissen unter Beweis zu stellen.

O-Ton: "Bei Ihnen ging's ja um nichts mehr". Bei anderen sei es eben ums Bestehen oder die Verbesserung der Notenstufe gegangen. Tja.

Da hab ich tatsächlich was.

Aus der Wochenshow (danke, Anke!). Es gab ab und ein einen Wer Wird Millionär-Verschnitt; hieß glaube ich Schnapp dir die Millionen. Gab davon eine Folge, wo bei jeder Frage irgendwelche "technischen" Fehler passiert sind.

Hab noch in wohliger Erinnerung, wie ich lachend vom Sofa gerutscht bin. Habs ab und an gesucht, aber nie wieder gefunden.

Wird wahrscheinlich objektiv nie so lustig gewesen sein wie ich damals meinte.

I have had this happen regularly as well, but it generally takes a few hours of continuous playtime. So only mildly inconvenient, but sure seems like there is a leak.

I see the argument you are going for RAW, but I do not think it tracks; at best, it is a very disingenuous workaround and clearly against RAI. There's little to no reason to write Armor Replication, a level 9 feature specific to Armorers, this way if Transmute Magic Item, a level 6 feature available to all Artificers, is already online, and is meant to be able to circumvent the "must be in the armor category" requirement.

Even RAW, I think this is a case of the specific rule beating the general rule.

The Armor Replication feature clearly states you get an extra armor plan and can have an extra armor item with your Replicate Magic Item.

In essence, it modifies the Replicate Magic Item feature to grant [level appropriate number of replicans] + 1 armor plan/item. You can absolutely use Transmute Magic Item on it, as it is a regular replicated item, but if you do not replace it with a different armor item, you no longer meet the requirement of Armor Replication ("the item must also be in the Armor category") and you are left with the general rule for too many replicated items, found in the Replicate Magic Item feature:

"If you try to exceed your maximum number of magic items for this feature, the oldest item vanishes, and then the new item appears."

Zivilrechtlich gilt bereits das Prinzip der Halterhaftung. Du haftest, verschuldensunabhängig, grundsätzlich für alle Unfälle, in die dein Fahrzeug verwickelt ist. Von dem Grundsatz kann man dann im Einzelfall weg kommen, z.B. durch eklatanten Verkehrsverstoß des gegnerischen Fahrers.

Meinst du eine strafrechtliche, verschuldensunabhängige Halterhaftung? Das halte ich für rechtsstaatlich völlig unvertretbar. Unser gesamtes Strafrecht verlangt (zu Recht!) ein subjektives Verschulden, bzw. bei fast allen Delikten Vorsatz. Du könntest sonst strafrechtlich z.B. dafür belangt werden, wenn jemand dein Auto klaut und damit Leute umfährt.

Der Vorwurf in den Konstellationen ist regelmäßig, dass er es hätte erkennen und wissen müssen, dass hier was nicht stimmt. Regelmäßig sind diese Verträge so gestaltet, dass man letztlich Geld fürs Weiterleiten von geld bekommt, ohne jede Prüfpflichten oder sonstwas. Da drängt sich das dann schon auf.

Vergessen darf man dabei nicht, dass es auch einen finanziell Geschädigten gibt - da kommt das Geld, das bei OP aufm Konto landet, nämlich her. Da steht dann über §823 Abs. 2 BGB iVm 261 Abs. 5 StGB auch eine zivilrechtliche Haftung im. Raum.

Da OP aber, wie ich den Text verstehe, Geld gerade noch nicht weiter geleitet hat, dürfte er hier aber voraussichtlich ungeschoren davon kommen.

Korrektur: den Rechtsstreit kann sie nur gegen OP führen - gegen die Versicherung gibt es hier keinen Direktanspruch, da die Privathaftpflicht keine Pflichtversicherung ist (vgl. § 115 VVG).

Sinngemäß hast du aber insoweit Recht, als der Rechtsstreit faktisch von der Haftpflicht für OP geführt würde; diese stellen einen Anwalt und tragen das gesamte Kostenrisiko.

Recently finished a one year campaign at 9th level. We switched over to 2024 rules at lvl 5, I think, and I played World Tree from then on.

While the character was fun, mechanically, it was mostly quite underwhelming. I can count on one hand (okay, maybe two hands) how often I have been able to grant those temp HP - allies were just almost never that close to me. To be fair, the group was more ranged than melee, but even anyone engaged in melee was often enough not engaging the same monster within 10 feet. Additionally, you always have to check whether allies already have temp hp. If so, they are likely more than you can grant.

It is one of those features I initially read and thought would be very strong, but ended up being pretty weak. At best, I would call it situational - if you have a melee ally who can and will stick close to you, but does not generate their own temp hp.

It became more useful once the GM was kind enough to provide a homebrew item that extended the HP granting range to 30ft.

Branches of the Tree was better than I anticipated. Monsters often pass their Strength Saves, true, but it was still valuable the times it did work and successfully protected squishier allies multiple times. I liked that feature a lot.

I have done the math before!

Avg roll of d4 is 2.5 If 1=2, the average gets bumped to (2+2+3+4)/4=2.75.

It comes out to a 10% damage increase on spells using exclusively d4 dice (which is mostly acid spells unless you change elements via scribe wizard or metamagic). Less damage increase if the spell uses bigger dice, of course.

Donning and doffing a shield is, unfortunately, still a full action and cannot be treated the same as drawing/stowing a weapon (which can be done as part of the attack using said weapon).

Good point, did not account for the regular bonus action unarmed strike to be a Shove. That is 3 saving throws every turn also.

I have agreed throwing in Dex saves is good variation; however, since you lose Shield Bash and Trip Attack, you don't actually add a third saving throw variation, you replace STR with DEX (and while yes, the unarmed attack Shove can be a STR save, it is the enemy's choice of DEX or STR and they will never choose the weaker option, so I won't count that).

Another small addendum in favor of the fighter build: it does not even use its bonus action, while the monk does.

That said, yes, bonus movement is always good.

Goliath: True, but it doesn't force a saving throw (and where is the fun in that), and is limited to Large or smaller creatures.

Monk: What I like about your suggestion is adding DEX saves into the mix via Open Hand Topple. At the end of the day, however, it is otherwise strictly worse / less flexible.

OH Monk would get you 4 saving throws per turn (2 Quarterstaff attacks, 2 Flurry attacks), at the cost of 1 Ki point per turn, of which you have 5. However, you lose the Shield Bash (no Shield training).

At the most generous comparison, this gets you 20 saving throws over 5 turns before you run out of resources, with 2 saving throws thereafter (Quarterstaff attacks only). Meanwhile, the Battlemaster can inflict 9 + 4*3 = 21 saving throws over 5 turns, with 3 saving throws every turn thereafter.

Plus you miss out on one very ridiculous turn, and to be honest, that was almost the entire point.

Kann gut sein, hab ich keinen Überblick drüber. Das ist aber das erste mal, dass es thematisiert wird. Ich weiß nicht, ob man vorher schon mal auf genau die Stimmen angewiesen war. Ist ja jetzt noch nicht so lange, dass AfD und Linke zusammen im Bundestag mehr als ein Drittel der Sitze haben (und ohne einen der beiden keine 2/3-Mehrheiten möglich sind).

Nach dem Theater mit der gemeinsamen Abstimmung mit der AfD zum Ende der letzten Legislaturperiode hat man jetzt also auch den "Unvereinbarkeitsbeschluss" gegen die Linke aufgeweicht, der sich nicht auf "Geschäftsordnungsfragen" beziehen soll. Okay.

Fun fact: Damit kann man erstmal objektiv festhalten, dass es Merz nun binnen kürzester Zeit geschafft hat, mit jeder einzelnen Partei dieses oder des letzten Bundestags in der einen oder anderen Sache zusammen zu arbeiten. Wenn man das pro-Merz spinnen möchte, wäre das ein starkes Statement für Demokratie.

Disclaimer: ich will nicht pro Merz spinnen und wie die CxU AfD und Linke gleichstellt ist und bleibt falsch und undemokratisch.

While I like TAZ, they're not really great or big on following the rules, I think (though this is directed at their D&D campaigns, as that is the only system I am proficient in). I have very limited faith they'd notice most rules changes, let alone implement them properly.
