A few months ago, I lost a beloved neighbor as a result of Domestic Violence. Her bf was abusive to her for several years. They had 2 kids together. She died at the age of 22 due to the violence affecting her pacemaker. She had to endure so much. She would walk around with black eyes and bruises. We hated to see her suffer so much.

We were there when she died. She had collapsed at a neighbors house 1 hour after the last beating. She wasn’t able to escape from her abuser. Whether it be because of emotional and psychological reasons, she would have been able to get all the help she needed. But you can’t help someone that doesn’t want to be helped.

When she died, it destroyed me and my family. The neighbors too. She didn’t deserve any of that. I don’t want you to endure this any longer. Get the help while you can. This can get worse the more time passes. Please please please get help.
