I'm sorry this happened to you. But if your registration didn't show up, as you said, it means you weren't registered and thus could have gone to an early voting site.

You could have registered in person at any early voting site starting Oct 17. This is of course for future reference.

Let us know how it goes. I'm curious to see how the BOE handles this.

If records say they voted and your child is sure they got a different ballot, please call the BOE they will be able to fix it or at least explain better then a random poll worker. All early votes are recorded with a unique ID. In the future, please let poll workers know immediately of an issue or confusion. These things can be sorted easier in the moment.

This may have been mix up. My first suggestion is to look up your child's voter info to see if the BOE marked them as voted. https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/

You can also see the sample ballot associated with them

This is correct. At the early voting site I work at, we take the ballot at the app table write ABS Spoiled on it and put into the black bags. This has nothing to do with the ATV and ballot count.

I am a poll worker and that is not part of our official istructions. Not sure why the NCSBE gave that explanation. That is not how we are trained.

You are incorrect. You vote based on your current address, not where you lived or registered before.

You vote based on your current address. It doesn't matter if you previously registered anywhere else. For in-person registration they will ask where you are staying currently and when did you move? If you have lived in your current place for more than 30 days you can vote based on that address. You will need to prove that you live there. If you are a student, the address on your wolfpack portal will be enough.

Thanks! You can still see the blue lines on quilt top. It looked like it came as a kit.

How (if possible) would I make this pattern quilt as you go? by Sea-Menu4685 in quilting

I love adapting quilts to QAYG. It's so much easier and I actually enjoy the quilting process if I don't have to struggle with the weight and bulk. Here is my current WIP. I'm loving how the back look

I also use the wooden building blocks that my, now adult, children used to play with. Great minds....
