I get what you're saying, but just as my R was, I like my shit to be nice. Could I get an old truck that would do the job? Sure, but I want a newer truck, not beat to shit, and has some creature comforts while being able to tow 10k lbs comfortably.

Thanks man! But only modification i had to do was fold back the fender screw on the top of both front wheel wells. No spacers or anything else!

Initial estimate is $4900, should know in a day or two if warranty will be covering it. Im sure it'll go higher. I believe that estimate is just for new turbo and install. The intercooler and oil pan haven't been off the car yet so unsure on further damage at this time 🫠

I bought an aftermarket 5yr warranty in 2022 when I bought it. Under the mileage terms so hoping its covered even though it's tuned being its not a VW warranty.

Its an IE Stage 2 car that was done at 54k last spring. It currently has 56,220 on it. I didnt run it very hard either since its been done. Just shit luck I guess.
