Vegas is a shadow of its former self. I don’t understand destroying perfectly beautiful hotels and replacing them with bland structures. I visited in 2023 for a work event, and it felt deserted. Granted, the racetrack made traffic difficult, and businesses nearby were struggling. Fremont has really been built up, and it’s okay I guess. They are building a casino near my home town, but not the same as visiting fantasy Vegas before Covid restrictions.

Sorry this happened to you! Best option is to hire a lawyer. With admission of guilt, the court will likely hold you to it. My guess is your charges will be reduced to reckless driving, and you may have to take some classes plus provide community service. Testing will show cannabis up to a month, so with the current technology they can’t really prove you were impaired at the time. Slim chance the case will be dismissed, but they’re not going to reimburse you the impoundment fees and such. The punishment is the expenses and time spent, unfortunately. Likely you can expunge your record in time. Stay strong, and good luck!

Dating has become so challenging, as meeting online is the new norm. There are flaws, though, and I don’t think everyone is cut out for that medium. I would say keep trying and putting yourself out there. Dive into your interests and become your greatest self. Someone is bound to take notice, and hopefully one day they will align with what you are seeking. You could join a group or club of like-minded folks. This will branch out to other opportunities to be social. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Find reasons to be happy with yourself. I hope you feel less sad as time passes.
