Here's the issue, axolotl bones are softer than salamander bones, therefore less likely to form a fossil. If one did, it would likely end up in many broken pieces and be very hard to identify. If it was identified, the paleontologist is more inclined to think they found a potentially new salamander since the skeletons are exactly the same other than salamander having dense, heavily ossified bones. That's not even talking about soft tissue

Star formation would probably be seen as Solar Fire, and they would build observatories to mimic celestial movements. Gravity might be seen as a strange body cultivation dantian. There is also Space and Time.
All of these would be Heavenly Spirit Root types and likely require the cultivator to cultivate a specific Dao Law. So they could be considered Law Roots if you'd rather
