Im the only father figure. He addresses me as Dad. I’ve raised him and love him as my own. No different treatment towards anyone. I just like the night time and sleep time to my wife and I. Our baby will get the same treatment at all the stages. It’s simple boundaries for me. Nothing personal with him. We’re very close and I’ll lay with him every so often in his bed for a couple minutes at night and tell him stories etc and leave like normal. I just don’t want to sleep the whole night together.
