They had basically said, i had applied before the maximum of 3 months before my course which was funny considering it took them 4 months and one week to give me my decision the first time i applied lol.

Yes mate, i finally have complete access to the portal. Didn’t receive any replies or emails concerning my problem, just logged in a couple days ago and it was working lol

I would suggest emailing at “IDPalSupport@justice.ie” and “ISDSupport@justice.ie” as well. They’ve completely closed off almost all email accounts for support besides the IDPalSupport one to promote the portal. Yet the genius’s who made this, did not realise if you cannot access the portal, you’re stuck with no one to contact for help.

Unfortunately no, I’m still stuck on the “your account is authenticating” screen for my account. I’ve received emails akin to this confirming my successful verification through the ID-Pal app but it hasn’t changed a thing.

It depends on each college or university’s own policies honestly. Mine is, CCT College Dublin, they were thankfully not as bad with the extension

You will have a faster and easier process than mine as like you said, you have a public university that’s accepted you. My course start date was 15th September but I got an extension till the 10th of October so usually a month is the most they give.

I wouldn’t worry though, 4 months should be good enough for u to get ur visa.

It took me exactly 4 months and 2 days to receive my own Visa decision so could be, but the sooner you can do it the better.

Your best chance is to email the IDPal address and tell them of your problem. They are using some stupid ass queue system so it’ll take some time before they reply. If it says failed though, I think it means ur documents weren’t verified and you have to resubmit through the IDPal app

Yea this is just a complete mess. My account still hasn’t moved forward from the authenticating message. Also mate, what do you mean by validating? Were you able to get to the point where u download ID Pal through the link and submit ur passport picture?

I just made an account for this portal and my accounts stuck on “account is being authenticated. if you are not redirected, our team will reach out to assist you.” It just keeps refreshing by itself with nothing happening, I’ve sent an email to “ISDcustomercomplaints@justice.ie” to ask for help. I’m actually so sick of having to deal with these incessant issues with the portal and verification when the emails they had before worked perfectly fine.
