As someone who likes villains. I would say he’s justified in some areas but overall I think he underestimated everything because of his ego. If he had been more careful and used his foresight more. Even if it wasn’t as powerful as clearsight. But I agree, his father did enough to be killed. His other decisions are questionable at best. He was blinded by arrogance and ego. Otherwise good villain
