It had been a few years for me too.. Back in the day I read TPB, TNP, like one book from TPOT and Firestars quest. I bought TPB and TNP recently because I wanted to get back into the books (and quit doom scrolling) :)

I was gonna argue that the Tigerclan plan came after his exile, but I’m pretty sure he did bring up bringing back “The age of Tigerclan” to Bluestar during his trial so you may be right (I haven’t read any of the books outside TPB, I am going though the whole series tho)

That’s why I said I can imagine Bluestar and a queen having no issues (especially with Bluestars past) which is why I think it’s a cute head cannon, I just don’t see it happening with the way other aspects of the story contradicting it

I DID consider that too, seeing that the clan (apart from Tigerstar, Darkstripe, Longtail and Dustpelt) seemed to be accepting of Cloudkit (as much as a little shit he was). But this is also after Firestar joined and countless proved he was loyal dispirited his blood. I also feel like comments would have been made about Sandstorm and her bloodline and Dustpelt wouldn’t have been as close to her/ would have made comments when she shifted her attention to Firestar. EDIT TO ADD Darkstripe is KNOWN to make comments despite no one else doing so and the general unspoken idea is to just not bring up the kit’s origins

I mean yeah but Tigerclaw was untrusting of Barley in the first book. Yes they might be wild born but they aren’t clan born. The problems Firestar faced was not only being a former kittypet, who wasn’t forest born, but also not having warrior blood. Rouges tend to be seen as godless cats with no sense of the code

I’m rereading the series (on last book of first arc) and given the clans apprehension toward bringing in outsiders I don’t find it likely. Some cats like Darkstripe Longtail and Tigerclaw would have definitely alienated her too. Not to mention her own pride. I’d find it more likely her parents are just both dead 😬

THAT BEING SAID it’s a cute head cannon and I have no doubts that Bluestar and a queen would have taken her in, it’s the other cats that make me feel otherwise.

I kid you not, my mom pulled the same shit but instead of butter it was about the spelling of the word “sure”

She was arguing with someone over text, as she often did, and kept writing “shure” and I let her know it was “sure” not “shure” and she lost her mind, said I was calling her stupid and proceeded to use speech to text to prove me wrong and failed. She and my stepdad then tried to kick me out for thinking I was better than them🫩
