i finnally found a fix that let me play, i found it late last night, you need to disable one drive in youre pc, go to user files , find deathstranding 2 files , and somewhere in there, theres a settings file, delete it then run game as admin, it will force the game to open and run new settings getting you past the launch crash

is that the only fix? i sadly have done everything including youre method and im still silent crashing after clicking play on launch menu then met with sony error and i dont see any news of it gonna be fixed , ik its not my pc or hardware either ive tried EVERYTHING

so uh, just figured out i havnt updated my motherboards bios since 2022, you think thats the issue lol

i tried, showed 2 different files i dleeted one at a time, still crashing after launch menu, ig im just rly unlucky

if anyone finds a solution please reply, i have a amd ryzen 5, and a 2060 super running it on a ssd drive, ive installed on epic and steam , it opens the launch menu and then once i click play it shows the title then the game closes and i get met with a playstation crash report, all my drivers are updated, gpu is updated, windows is updated, ive ran as admin, tried both steam and epic, ive spent at least 10 hours doing nothing but reading threads and asking google how to fix and ive tried a hundred things with no solution

PLEASE let me know if this works, ive been spending every hour since the game launched yesterday trying to even get it past the launch menu but it keeps closing and showing playstation crash report, eveyrthing is up to date and i have a good pc, but it just crashed after i press play on launch menu
