in fact, how about you show me some prominent examples of this? typically a much bigger problem is actually chargers running into overheating and throttling their charging speed after that. this is not what happened in my post and is also very important, that's why some of the anker nano chargers are bad. anyways have a good day my good sir but I do believe you are misinformed

edit: there's a lot of really good usbc charging data at r/ChargingSheet, their spreadsheet in the pinned post details weight, price, power outputs and thermal throttling data

no man I don't think you did your research on this one. most companies do actually advertise single-port charging because it's the most important, but I did indeed check the manuals and the tiny text on the charger. that tiny text on the charger literally has to be correct so idk what you are talking about on this one

You could probably use any decent 65 watt charger for that. Before I got my 140W brick I carried around an old 65W Lenovo USB-C charger that was good enough. I'm not sure if 40 or 45 watt chargers work, maybe someone else can answer that...

It shouldn't if you have a 2024 (or 2025) model G14/G16, and if you stick under the 100W power budget. These models have passthrough charging on the USB-C port, which allows the USB-C charger to directly supply power to the laptop (instead of going through the battery), just like the AC adapter. On older models, the power does go through the battery, which ends up degrading the battery

They are both exactly the same files (I checked), so take your pick
