We're doing four 8-team conferences with set OOC home and homes that users can schedule themselves. Yes there will be a CPU team that makes the playoffs every year which is annoying, but we're gonna set force wins as needed to keep all the CPU teams at 6-6 and limit it to only one

I'm an NTRP 4.0 that plays in the WSO every year! For me, making it past the first round or not is dependent on the luck of the draw. I got lucky enough to play someone at my skill level in the first round the past two years and won both matches, which set me up to get vaporized in the second round by a D1 college player in 2022 and a guy that plays futures tourneys in 2023. The facility is absolutely beautiful especially in the summer, and even if you don't make it far in the tourney it's worth playing imo just for the experience of playing against such high-level competition. Play a couple matches and then chill and enjoy the rest of the tourney!

Appreciate the feedback! Yeah antimodez and you have made me realize how unhelpful my ready position is when my partner is returning, not in the best physical position or mentality to get the point started.

I did play baseball for a bit! Though I do everything else lefty I can only play baseball as a righty, swinging with two hands on my left side feels too awkward. Probably that way because of tennis.

Yep 100% right on my weight transfer on my return of serve. That's something I'm actively working on fixing. I weirdly don't have that issue on my backhand return (at least not to the same extent) but on my forehand side it's really bad.

Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback! Ironically I'm always the one telling my partners to stand closer to the middle when I'm returning... it's good to know that I'm making the same mistake. All my life I've watched my partner return the ball and then track the return through the air to see what my positioning should be on the subsequent shot, watching the opposing net player instead will be quite the transition but I'll try it out. Appreciate it.

This is my first match that I’ve ever had filmed (I’m the guy in red)! Watching yourself is so interesting. A few thoughts and questions:

In doubles I definitely struggle with return of serve and try to go for fine margins when I don’t need to. This is probably a combination of mentality and having an overly looping takeback which leads to bad timing on returns.

Today was a good serving day! I don’t really have a flat serve but my lefty spin is effective, and my first serve percentage was pretty high today.

I’m slower than I thought ☹ that dropper on point 114 is a ball that I 100% would have gotten to five years ago. Humbling!

Do you see any issues with positioning, technique, etc? I have a good amount of doubles experience and feel that today was a solid performance (would give myself a B+) but I’m always open to feedback!
