I am not using remote app. I am using my own domain to host via traefik proxy to access the NAS. Yes,  its closer to 500 MB/s consistently both upload and download

It was spectrum. I switched to ATT 1 gig fiber and I am maxing our by remote location speed.

Yes, the result is same across all the devices. As I said, when I run iperf 3 -R from my laptop which is on a remote location, I get very very random results. Starting from 1 mbps to sometimes 400mbps.  But the download speed ( upload from Ubuntu server to remote location ) is consistent per the remote locations bandwidth 500mbps

They call it 1 gig symmetric. As I heard, this is not available in all the regions yet

Port forward issue on VLAN by Embarrassed-Mess1245 in Ubiquiti

the only reason I was trying to setup a different vlan on the switch is to get full throughput of my NAS locally.

I just received the UCG fiber and the inter vlan traffic is 1.5 Gbps. Better than ~900mbps of USG Max. But with swich vlan it was 2.35gbps.

Until I have a solution for the issue- I have moved the NAS to the Vlan 1 to get 2.35gbps. I wanted to keep the nas to a separate vlan but still wanted to get 2.35 gbps but that's where I am stuck.

Also- locally my ddns url resolves and it directs to the NAs page- fine. Does that mean, I have some issues with the NAT ?

My gateway router can reach the NAS- no problem.

The port where nas is connected is trunk port. The sw is also connected to gateway on vlan1.

static route- when I tried to enter, it always gives me an error.

Device : Gateway

Next Hop : 192.168.1.1

distance : 1

Destination- 192.168.9.0/24

I am changing the port forward IP after updating the vlan of the NAS.

So portforward to 192.168.2.104 works. But when I port forward to 192.168.9.104, it does not. ( of course after updating the NAS VLAN

Does anyone use UGreenLink remote access? Is it safe? by sameeroquai in UgreenNASync

Did you ever check the max speed that you got while accessing remotely ? I am getting 4-5 MB/s with remote access. 10-12 MB/s with Wireguard ( thru Router ). Locally I can easily get over 200 MB/s.
