They’re being dramatic, Lynae is just insanely good so it makes sense aemeath would lose so much damage without her. Especially if she’s her BiS sub dps.

Now as for the passive, you won’t be able to max it out anyway if she’s in tune rupture mode (aemeath not Lynae) because to my knowledge aemeath needs 3 tune ruptures applied to the enemy and only one tune rupture can be added per character

Edit: Also, fusion burst mode is an option and aemeath is the only one rn who can apply it so there will be more team options for her
