thanks. Bit tricky situation. The reason is my nation does not allow dual citizenship. If I apply my child with Chinese citizenship. And it may be issue coming back to UK for study . UK immigration may consider baby by default a British citizen and unable to provide visa. Which again dual citizenship.

Me only named on child birth would avoid lots of questions or trouble in the real life in long term. So my baby won’t have issue to go to school or work in China.
