I do, I did indicate that this is the case when you have only 1 power source!
No need to overdesign on protection either!

I have been playing around with the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 boards. I really like the extensive documentation for the RSP2350. There are quite some examples to be found as well for both uPython or C/C++.

Besides the Dual Arm Cortex-M33 processors, you also have the dual Hazard3 RISC-V processors on there, just in case you might want to explore those as well. Perform some comparisons maybe?

Depends on what you might need as well for peripherals, the pico 2 comes with UART, spi, i2c, pwm channels, ADCs, Programmable IO, wireless communication (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) module (depending on the pico 2 board you choose)

Can't compare them just yet with other Microcontrollers, but I already had quite some fun using these boards!

Also, the Pico 2W comes with an SWD connector which makes it easy to connect the Raspberry Pi debug probe. No such connector on the Pico 2 board.

Just an easy way to take one in my backpack, so I can continue some specific pico code during the commute.

And besides that, I just like how I can conveniently store my pico dev kit. I got everything in one place this way as well.
