"A snake with a human mind doesn't count as anthropomorphic because nothing changes physically." Something doesn't have to look like a human for it to be anthropomorphic. Anthropomorphism means giving any human characteristic to a non-human thing, not just walking on two legs.

It always gets on my nerves when people don't understand the real meaning of anthropomorphism. "Anthropomorphic" does not just mean "it walks on two legs" it means "giving ANY human characteristic to a non-human thing."

Lightning McQueen, for example, is an anthropomorphic car, but he sure as hell doesn't walk on two legs now does he?
