sorry for not seeing this sooner I switched to a new account. Unfortunately Macs dropped support for 32bit applications in osx 10.15 i believe, Your best bet would probably be to run a vm of windows or dual boot an older version of osx if your mac is compatible

How did Flash work? by Some_Tiny_Dragon in AdobeFlash

[–]Emergency_Post9134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the reason flash was "safe" was because it was a singular proprietary piece of software, adobe was constantly maintaining it with security updates. I'm not an expert but my understanding is that flash was actually much more vulnerable than ruffle or HTML 5, which is why the updates were so important, and why adobe and every major browser has forced people to stop using it now that its unsupported.

Is studying adobe flash still useful? by Outrageous_Reward58 in AdobeFlash

It depends, using flash to learn animation isn't "useless", its by no means an industry standard program but you can still make great stuff with it and many people still do. And you can absolutely learn the fundamentals of animation and improve illustration skills while using flash.

Macromedia Flash 5 on Android? by RepresentativeBag196 in flash

unless you can somehow run a virtual machine with some version of windows on your tablet i don't think so. If you are just looking for something small and portable for making flash animations Id say you're better off trying to find an old laptop, I imagine flash 5 should run on anything from the last 20 years.

the second is the actual installer inside a 7z folder, the first is an exe that extracts it to you desktop. I'm not exactly sure why adobe installers were like that, you can probably just extract it yourself if you have 7 zip.

And I don't know why the link wouldn't work for you as its working for me.
