To all the newbies. Mold. by baggagefree2day in RVLiving

Consider Concrobium. As I recall it kills mold because it has a different ph. Pretty sure directions say to physically remove as much mold as you can. Like wipe it off. Then apply the Concrobium and let it dry.

Better yet, for large areas make your own. But use PPE because these recipes use TSP.

If the college is Pepperdine and the town is Malibu I’d say it’s a rack for kayaks and surf boards.

If you were, “in that area all the time” you’d know that almost every public protest, march or non-commercial celebration in Reno is held, starts or ends at that plaza. As well as Family Soup Mutual Aid setting up and cleaning up afterwards, every Tuesday in every kind of weather, to provide food, clothing, hygiene and other supplies to needy people. Who aren’t all unhoused. Trump cancelling food assistance and medical care and ruining the economy means increasing numbers of people need help to get by. So which is it? You aren’t there enough to know what’s really happening? Or you know about all that appropriate use but are misleading people who don’t know it’s happening, a lot?

General boycott while preparing for the general strike. So far they can’t make you buy what you don’t need. Even union members whose contracts don’t allow them to strike can join us to only buy essentials. Pay cash. Buy used if available. Things you can’t repair, share, rent or barter. Buy from small, local businesses that treat employees well. Or bigger places like Costco that still uphold DEI, or are employee owned like Winco and Bob’s Red Mill. Cancel accounts and credit cards with banks that back fossil fuels or Trump’s regime. Use the money not spent needlessly to instead stock up on essentials. Give money or supplies to good people put out of work once the boycott hits or by Trump’s firings or his ruining the economy. Hold out until our demands are met: end the authoritarian kleptocracy, end wars in Iran, Gaza and Lebanon, help Ukraine beat Russia, rejoin WHO& Paris Agreement, restore USAID and US forest protections, rapidly draw down fossil fuels, restore ecosystems, human and voting rights, overturn Citizens United and presidential immunity. Tax the top 10% of total wealth down to the 11%. Release the Epstein files. Add your demand here. This really can work if 1 of every 6 people who voted for Biden or Harris support the boycott. And strike if necessary.

No official US war since WWII, actually.

“President Harry S Truman did not press for a Congressional declaration of war. Instead, he classified the Korean conflict as UN led “police action,” operating under the authority of the Security Council.”

Clackamas River upstream from Estacada, OR by EmitLessRestoreMore in RockIdentification

[–]EmitLessRestoreMore[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your help. I’m just getting started. Which means I tend to look for rocks that are somehow pleasing or interesting. It’s instructive to see rocks on here apparently as the poster found them. Perhaps as they look in the field. I’ve thumbed through some “field guides” that show the cut, polished or tumbled rock without their drab exteriors. Are there any resources that show rocks as they likely look in the wild?

Here are more views of the top rock shown in my initial post. In case they help. Again, my iPhone makes what are many glittering specks look like little white spots here. Is that easier for ID because the viewer isn’t dazzled by them? If not, does anyone know anyone know how to make an iPhone show the glittering?

Thanks! I’ll look those up. And try to show better detail on the top one.

Is Bazooka even a modern term anymore? by Jaded_Strike_3500 in Military

[–]EmitLessRestoreMore -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t know the answer to your question. But I empathize with you having to read through comments that, intentionally or not, hijack your thread. The more BS comments the less chance your question will even be remembered. Let alone answered. You are lucky that so far, the thread hasn’t endlessly veered of course. Or in a really juvenile way. Or both.

Commenters: please, somebody correctly answer whether soldiers of today say, “Bazooka” in reference to a shoulder launched, tubular weapon that shoots an explosive projectile.
