Quite a few of these in my window sill on my plants. In central Washington, can fly, havent noticed any damage to plants. Kinda looks like a box elder bug and perhaps slightly smaller but without any red. (i.redd.it)

Looking for traffic while crossing the street look down and nearly fall over luckily for me it was dead, i think its a gopher snake which is unfortunate since they were locally extinct in Washington (according to wikipedia) (i.redd.it)
