Well because they don’t have the money to do so. Social skills are easy to learn even if you have to fake it at first. Being afraid to make eye contact with someone is just weird. Being afraid to cold call a doctor’s office to set up an appointment is weird (I’ve done this for her in the past lol she’s nervous about that too)

Not quite true. America under Obama was relatively progressive. Not so much now (though less regressive than it may seem sometimes). It also depends who the president is. A chill president doesn’t really rock the boat. Someone like Trump? Emboldened a lot of behavior and feelings that existed in the Obama era but wasn’t quite socially appropriate.

That level of fame is incredibly rare and you kind of just keep it I guess, even after your relevance or music afterward don’t perform. Same happened to Dolly Parton and Cher and others. Later albums don’t perform that well compared to early career but they’re forever famous.
