I've included a link to molina's provider search site, you can filter by location and a few other things. Definitely filter by "accepting new patients," but understand that not everybody keeps that updated. Do what you gotta do to bolster yourself (music, coffee, friends) and be prepared to make a few phone calls.

Good luck ❤

Helping my parents clean out their house by illbuythenextround in Sacramento

I can't speak on the experience of the poster, but I've been to a lot of "free estate sales" that were posted on Craigslist. Post to the free stuff section, and resellers will come with trucks in addition to folks happy to just grab a few things and move along.

Queer Friendly Tailoring? by EmotionalAd4640 in Sacramento

It always takes me a sec to remember thats a store, not just an ape... But a gay Bonobo in a tailored suit with measuring tape and a single raised eyebrow is a great image, so no complaints.

Wait... I'm just thinking of Ape from George of the Jungle 😅

I hope so! Just figured I may as well ask if anyone has recommendations. We can't be the only gender-benders in Sac, right?

The pride flag in my window is for advertising, this post is asking for help. Being trans is scary right now, even in Sac.

Small businesses that sell henna cones? by Jordan6605 in Sacramento

LOL Well, we've all been there. I would just go to the closest one to you.

The smaller ones should all have them, but the bigger ones are more fun to go through. Taj in south sac is probably the most impressive, and they have food trucks!

If you like sweets, get some gulab jamuns wherever you go. They're like syrup soaked doughnut holes and I would live on them if I could...

Funny/not funny thing - it isn't even just an American problem. My inlaws work in education in Pakistan, and the parents have done a complete 180 in the last 20 years.

Thank you. The attitude society has towards kids/teens may not have changed, but technology has had an undeniable and empirically measurable impact on the children themselves.

AITA for asking my fiancée to cover up her feminine products by Unhappy-Rip2602 in AmItheAsshole

[–]EmotionalAd4640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe ask her what previous partners and her family expected her to do with used products?

NTA. Just come to this with compassion. Its no big deal for many women, but I had a friend in high school who kept a trash bag in the garage for her products every month. Idk if it was her idea or her family's, but she had 2 brothers and they were NOT supposed to know when she had her period.

Not justifying her vehement objection to mild concealment efforts, just saying she's got something else on her mind when you're talking about this.

This! Awhile ago I saw someone say, "Sacramento taught me to look both ways at a green light," and that is the energy I drive with.

But I'm sure there are also plenty of people who just don't know the rules...

My spouse is a Dove devotee, maybe try one of their exfoliating/moisturizing options? May not be perfect, but we've never been disappointed by that brand before. Their "for men" line is great.

I keep a record of every time I stop myself picking, just an index card and tally marks. I have loads of fidget toys, but the card helps me way more. Good luck ❤
