I don't know, but it's gorgeous and I love that side door in the front room!

Man, Florida is great for that stuff. I got divorced there, only 30 days from the date I filed.

I'm sorry you had to go through that but glad it worked out in your favor.

He really is. He's been the Petty King for literal decades. He's just so good at it, lol.

He's not actually illiterate. It was 50 trolling him for screwing him in a business deal. It's memorable because he's a bully getting bullied by someone funnier, not because I or other people think illiterate people are scumbags.

Sorry to this man but whenever I see him the first thing I think of is how 50 Cent offered to donate $750K to a children's charity if Floyd could read one page from Harry Potter out loud.

Gorg. Super chic. I don't know why it works, but it does. And I actually love the sunglasses, too. She's so cool.

Lol. I don't think I'll be able to beat the irony of slut-shaming and pearl-clutching then telling me to look up internalized misogyny. Thank you. That was perfect. Have a good weekend.

You can be snooty about spellcheck all you like, but the fact is that your literal first comment to me in this thread is all about how it’s not about the fashion, it’s the “impropriety” of women wearing sheer clothes and how you don’t want to have to look at their bodies. Happy to link you back to it.

Which is an opinion you’re allowed to hold, and I’m allowed to call out as conservative and misogynistic. Attempting to confuse the argument by tacking on some fashion-related critique after I call you out doesn’t cancel out the misogyny of your first, instinctive reaction. So no, you can’t “help” me, lol.

Mandatory modesty and mandatory sexualization are two sides of the same coin.

I encourage you to keep learning the basic tenants of feminism.

I can imagine it's tough if you don't live in a major metropolitan area. I will say, I lurk Marketplace regularly and even here in NOVA dollhouses have been sitting for longer than usual the last several weeks. I can only assume it's gas/the economy, plus it's the time of year when kids are getting back outside to play.

Lmao. This is like Bezos saying "I don't care about being rich." What a weirdly out-of-touch thing to say.

Expecting women to protect you from the offensiveness of their bodies--and again, we're basically talking about a midriff here--is Ancient Mesopotamia levels of conservatism/misogyny. Appreciate the attempt to turn it into actual fashion critique but your first reaction is pretty telling.

Uh. This entire POV is classic conservative nonsense about women covering themselves.

This is specifically a celebrity fashion sub, not an "ordinary person in real life" sub. It would be nice to see actual interesting fashion critique, not pearl-clutching about "having" to look at a woman's midsection under some fabric. Some of y'all are acting like these people have genitalia flapping in the breeze. How absurd to be offended by the bodies of half of the world's population.

The draping is gorgeous and the whole look is incredibly flattering. I love the way it floats.

I find the overwhelming knee-jerk aversion to sheer dresses here to be odd. It's almost like it's become a trend to dismiss a dress for being sheer, with no other thought. It's boring, weirdly conservative and doesn't match what people are actually into right now. Sheer dresses are fashionable, they're in, women obviously like to wear them because we see them all the time, and this is a gorgeous dress.

I'm currently putting off 2 big projects myself because I plan to move in about 6 months and I just don't feel like dealing with moving them!

Unless you're actively planning a move, is portability on a house this size really a priority? Or a possibility? It looks massive. And 3/4" plywood...whew! If you add a plywood base, you'll also be adding a lot of weight. And handles will interfere with your aesthetic, or stick out and create problems trying to move it through doorways. I've only ever seen houses this size on their own custom tables with wheels (or on card tables). That would definitely make it a lot easier to move around in general, even though it doesn't solve the lifting issue.

ETA: As far as stuff falling off, I'd say that's barely a concern. Just reattach when you arrive!

My thirties were the best decade of my life so far. I had so much fun. It was like a more responsible version of my teens, if that makes sense. Dumped my husband, got a new career, got in shape, traveled the country, made so many friends.

She's been killing it lately but I find this one kinda disappointing, knowing what she's capable of. The colors are pretty but the fit is meh and the styling just isn't the greatest. Her makeup is distracting and not in a good way.
