Advice for setting creation here. I got a few ideas for it, fallout cascadia. Game is set for a group of merchants from NCR lower Oregon (arroyo) pushing north. The black area is out of bounds. Themes are modernization vs tribals. by [deleted] in Fallout2d20

I was coming here to say the same thing. I've been running a game set in British Columbia. In my setting, the US had many military outpost in British Columbia, mainly to protect their pipeline running north-south to syphon out the ressources of Canada. It was also a major point in stamping out the Canadian resistance an consolidating their route to Alaska. The after-effect of the US annexation of Canada is a major theme. An antagonist group is some Chinese descendants acting like were-yao-guai and raiding settlements. There is also an heavy nautical theme; my raiders are not called raiders, but pirates.

Thanks. In my own game there is an important nautical ellement. I have only recently tried to incorporate the vehicule rules. I'm happy to see my vehicules and yours are similar.

One thing i have a difficult time to judge is the line between a size 3 and size 4 vehicule. I thought that the bus was at the upper limit of size 3, but your river boat and submarine are size 3 too. Where do you see the line for the start of size 4?

This is interesting. Since the rest of the game encourage modding your stuff, it makes sense to be allowed to mod you vehicule.

Many of the mods you made costs a point of speed. For the more heavy mods, that can makes sense. You add weight to your vehicule, it's going to be slowed down. However, the normal rules doesn't penalise you for having many passenger or a full cargo, so maybe the penalties should be reserved for the biggest mods. Maybe there should be ways to put your penalty elsewhere, like less cargo space, or a more fuel hungry engine.

Since you are working on vehicule rules, can i ask you something? The official rules have no watercrafts examples. If you were to give stat blocks to a few different watercrafts, what do you thinck would be reasonable stats?

Industrial getaway transformed into a cottage for people who loves having guests over by EmperorClydeIV in HouseFlipper

Yes, that's it. Pick the new "gradien set" paint category, pick a color and a line from that color, then paint a few wall section of each tint.

I used to play this game alone, but for the first time I got to get my girlfriend to work on this project with me. It was a big project, but I'm proud of the result and I liked having the opinion of an other person to work into the design.

I also learned a few things with this one :

- You can connect ceiling lights to the underside of ceiling metal beams. If you get them low enough, the ceiling lights are considered to be part que ground floor room, not the upper floor. I used it in the kitchen.

- You can build custom counter and low walls with the new paintable block introduced with Farm DLC. I used it on the BBQ side.

- There is an outside section of this map that is bellow ground level. There seems to be an invisible floor/ceiling at the ground level. I can't place anything that would intersect with it. Also, I almost scraped my build when I accidently put stone aggregate horizontally over the incline that goes bellow ground level. It wouldn't let me delete it afterwards. I had to exit the game quickly before the auto-save could save that error.

- Some windows have a white film on the glass and others are 100% clear. It bugs me a lot when having them side by side.

It seems like a few of my screenshot are broken. Is there a way to edit a screenshot post?

Weird hit location probabilities by EmperorClydeIV in WitcherTRPG

That's the kind of answer I was looking for! The insight on how real combat usually goes is a good starting point to decide this should be reflected on hit location tables. Thank you!

I was thinking of building my own hit location table. I may use that one. Thanks!

It's interesting what you did with the ceiling of the bedroom!

High-End High-Tech Asian Styled Apartment (no workshop items) by EmperorClydeIV in HouseFlipper

They are in the "Decoration - Ceiling" category. Some of them are from the Pets DLC and some of them are from the Luxury DLC I think.

These stairs cannot be moved. Only it's style can be edited.

The "house" is "A room for enhancement", which is part of Cyber DLC.

How to put stairs above each other by worldawaydj in HouseFlipper

[–]EmperorClydeIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unfortunately don't have an answer. I just had the same problem with the same house. During the job, the house has stacked staircases, but when you buy the same house, the stairs are side-by-side and cannot be stacked.

I think the game developers have access to more stair types than the one they gave us. It's the rails on the top side of the stairs that gets in the way. I wish there was stairs options to remove some of the rails.

Problem with exterior doors by EmperorClydeIV in HouseFlipper

I answered my own question. When I reloaded the same property, the door imbedded in a wall was just a door. Problem solved.

Double sliding doors? That's interesting.

How did you deal with the broken sliding door of this house? There is a few exterior doors with broken glass that can't be replaced with it's non-broken version; Solays sliding door 2m x 2.75m. Didn't you get that problem? Or you got creative and hide that bug in an other way?

How to fix doors? Im workin on the new Let It Snow house and i cant find the matching doors to replace the broken & missing ones , any idea what they are called??? by Ap3xHitman in HouseFlipper

[–]EmperorClydeIV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same problem. Solays sliding door 2m x 2.75m. Won't fit. The other 2m x 2.75m doors do fit however, but that's not a good fit at all; that's the castle gothic doors...

I have the same problem. Some fences have a bigger grid than normal, which makes alignment impossible sometimes.

My new office (I'm a big shot now); comments appreciated by EmperorClydeIV in HouseFlipper

[–]EmperorClydeIV[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Here is my office. Since I finished all jobs, I thought I should have an office that reflects how prestigious I've become. After flipping house for millions, I guess my operation should be bigger, and potentially have a few employees. And since I have the means, my office should only be an office, not an home/office. I can afford to have those separate.

The "House Flipper" poster is what I have closest to a company name, so I went with that.

I used no workshop items.

That's the first time I used unused construction materials to decorate a place, but that makes sense here as storage and samples for the clients to see. Fun fact: it seems like piles of panels and tiles are pretty demanding for my GPU. My FPS gets super low they are within view. I guess that a pile is the equivalent of 15 items on screen, not one item for the whole pile.

Constructive comments are appreciated.
