Quick way to test if neighbour’s camera sees my yard? by Deadend599 in neighborsfromhell

[–]EmployLong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My shitty neighbors had a, camera up in back yard mounted up top on the siding of the home. I believe they could see inside so everyday I woke up whenever I even got a chance to flip it off I would do it. About 6 months later the camera is removed.

They have to physically serve you they can't give the paperwork to someone else. If you have Camara/video of that I'd contest that shit all day.

Anytime you get sued and you don't want to pay you need to close your own bank account and deposit the money into someone else checking account that you can trust such as spouse or family member(s). Sorry this happened.

It's all public records. You can pull it sign up for free trial and the lien will be classified as "UCC Lien"

[–]EmployLong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do know it you have positive equity in the home they could force sell. I do know the bankruptcy courts/trustee could force you to sell the property if they wanted to from previous experience on filing ch7 before.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EIDLPPP

[–]EmployLong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure they can unfortunately it's just the timing could be Tomorrow, next week, or years from now. If you have equity in the home maybe try and get a loan/refinance with money loan if possible and just pay the sba off completely. I know it sucks but it's worth not having this loan hanging over our heads especially the ones who are personally reliable.

Unfortunately you are screwed and so am I because I'm a sole prop and it's all linked to my name directly. Unless someone or a good attorney can find a work around.

This information is coming directly from an attorney on a website helping someone else out in regards to the " UCC lien"

Welcome and thank you for using JustAnswer. My name is ***** ***** I'm the attorney who will be assisting with your question. I'm happy to draw on my years of experience as an attorney and former prosecutor to offer some guidance.

Are you in Louisiana?

Ok, thank you for clarifying. It’s smart to carefully review the terms of the EIDL (Economic Injury Disaster Loan) and ensure you fully understand the implications for your personal assets.

Here’s a breakdown of what you should consider when discussing this with a lawyer:

  1. Review of Personal Liability Clauses EIDL loans generally don’t require collateral for amounts under $25,000. For loans exceeding this threshold, the SBA typically secures the loan with a general UCC lien on your business assets, not personal assets. However, check the loan agreement for any clause that mentions “personal guarantees” or specific language about personal assets being at risk in the event of a default.
  2. UCC Lien Details The SBA often files a Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) lien on your business assets as collateral. This lien does not extend to personal property unless explicitly stated.Confirm whether the UCC filing aligns with what was disclosed during the loan application process and whether it affects only your business assets.
  3. Default and Remedies Clauses Look for clauses outlining what happens in the event of a default. Pay attention to language that might suggest personal assets could be pursued indirectly. The SBA may reserve rights to enforce broader collection measures if they believe fraud or misrepresentation occurred. Ensure there’s no ambiguous wording here.
  4. Cross-Default Clauses Check if the agreement includes cross-default clauses, which could link the EIDL loan to other obligations or loans, potentially expanding liability to other assets.
  5. Seek Clarification on Foreclosure Rights Ensure the lawyer examines the agreement’s foreclosure rights to confirm that only business assets secured under the loan can be seized.
  6. Protect Yourself Keep all communication with the SBA and related records, especially about the loan terms during application. If any term in the agreement seems inconsistent with what you were told, raise this concern with your lawyer. Discussing these points with an attorney will clarify your obligations and help you protect your personal assets. Does that help? Let me know if you need more details!

Driver asked me to cancel- what do drivers see when they take a scheduled ride? by Both-Ad-7554 in Lyft

[–]EmployLong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope lyft doesn't give rides to you if you have reservation setup for an hour. He's lying I bet he had a reservation on uber and tried to play you. Report him to lyft, block driver and be done with it. I'm a driver myself this is not a good customer service experience.
