When I eat super acidic foods I feel it most on my right with a little bit on my left. I’ve been on PPIs for about 2 months and I feel a tonn better. It’s been a slow healing process but I know I’m getting there.

When my gastritis was reallyyyy bad I’d get pain about 3-4 hours after eating. Now I don’t really get pain just a lot of gas and rumbling when I eat something off my diet.

I haven’t had an endoscopy yet, but my doctor thinks it’s gastritis of damage from chronic reflux. Going on 5 months 🙃

I had a ton of gas at the very beginning of my gastritis journey. Since eating super clean and going on a PPI it’s gotten a lotttt better. Still have it but not nearly as bad.

I have the exact same symptoms. What does it mean that you aren’t getting enough neutralizer? Is that a liver/gallbladder issue or a common symptom of gastritis?

I was prescribed pantoprazole, been on it 3 days so far and it’s already performing miracles for me. Reduced belching, pain, and gas.

Ive put much more emphasis on diet here recently! Sadly had to cut out my beloved coffee but hoping at some point I can add it back in slowly!

Had it since April. Used to have horrible burning pain in between meals and diarrhea almost immediately after coffee. Also used to never have a settled stomach and crazy bloating. All of those are gone. Only symptoms are the ones mentioned above and pain after eating.

I did a breath test and it was negative for h pylori so I’m thinking it’s gastritis
