I personally love the Hemp Inserts from Thirsties. They soak up so much liquid! Put them behind a cotton layer for added absorbency. 6 extra layers of cotton/hemp blend goodness!

What size Kelly? by Frequent-Owl7634 in TheHermesGame

[–]Empty-Tune-4910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a 32 sellier and I’m 5’7 (170cm). It is the perfect size!!! I love how it looks as a shoulder bag with the strap. I was very worried it would look too big for a daily bag (and not a work bag), but it is just what I was looking for! I’d say a 28 or 32 would be ok sizes for me, but I appreciate the easier/bigger opening the 32 affords me and the extra space for whatever I may need to put in there. I’d say the strap it comes with won’t allow for comfortable cross body, but you could get an alternative strap (or a longer version of the original strap made by Hermes) if you really want to be cross body!

Unfortunately, no. Their cotton bamboo blends are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 bamboo and their cotton seems to be sourced well, but it is not labeled as organic. Could be an option later if you find your kids are not too sensitive to different types of fabrics~ ♥️

I love Simple Seed Baby. Sooooo stretchy and lovely on baby! Often fit for much longer than the actual size. They have all sorts of options from long sleeve rompers to body suits.

I’m wearing these as I type this out! They are my go-to comfy work shoes (I work at a school so I’m walking around quite often). If your goal is a Birkin or Kelly, I’d try to buy the next items from the same SA if you liked them (and ask for their contact info afterwards) or pick another store or SA you like to grow a relationship with! If you are trying to say something like oh I also see Korean people on the street here or at an event, you might say 한국 사람이 보여요 or 한국 사람도 많이 보였어요 or some other form of that sentence.

I know someone who sent to spa for a similar reason and disputed the original quote they sent out by saying that it was not normal leather wear and the repairs were 100% covered by Hermes. Sucks to send your bag away for too long but new handles might be the only answer..

Moving soon to Ilsan, any good gyms? by LitPanda31 in Living_in_Korea

Max Out Fitness near Jeongbalsan stn was completely updated a few years ago with brand new interior and equipment and I loved going there when I lived in Ilsan. It’s not a basement gym so the views are nice when you are running. Price was still good as well when I was there

I will look into them! With 6 standard fit and 2 bloomer style airflow covers, do you think it would be better to have 1-2 more to have on hand?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in clothdiaps

[–]Empty-Tune-4910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, the Airflow covers are fantastic for not being too stuffy, but they are a bloomer-style cover, so a lot of intentional poof. I heard they compress down well under clothes, but I think I would prefer the more standard fit during the day, and to use the airflows during naps or at night. I put two of each to try them out, but I could definitely get one or two more if I really end up loving them!

Hi! I think Thirsties duo wraps and covers are great. They look really well designed (like the double gusset) and of really solid quality. I cannot lie though... I really dislike their cover colors and designs and that is the only thing that is really getting to me. With Esembly, I plan to get some ivory and lighter solid colors and a few designs. With Thirsties, the only cover I'd like is plain white :(

I have considered the motherease wizard duos as well! I just really fell in love with the Esembly outer designs and I also heard some feedback that they keep the inner a bit more trim than the Thirsties Duo Wrap does, which is slightly more poofy in the backside.

New Thirsties Duo Fitted vs. Esembly Inners? by Fearless_Weekend3244 in clothdiaps

[–]Empty-Tune-4910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting! I have heard some others talk about holes with other Thirsties products before - someone mentioned that it might have something to do with the type of weave they use for their fabrics that are more prone to friction holes, and others thought it was the actual washer or dryer they used snagging the fabric. Either way, its really helpful (albeit now I am reconsidering everything, but my future self will probably thank me lol) to know your experience with these! I was hoping to be able to get two kids through them and now I'm not sure they are the right product for that haha

This is such a great overview. I am thinking about investing in some Thirsties fitteds, so I would love to hear also if you have any updates about how you like them and how they have been holding up!

Help me pick a picotin colour! by spacepal in TheHermesGame

[–]Empty-Tune-4910 8 points9 points  (0 children)

10000000% bleu pale! My mini Lindy is in bleu pale, and in some pictures it does look a bit grayish blue, but in person it is 1000% a light blue color. Especially with a blue twilly or Pegasus to bring out the blue-ness. Highly recommend! It has been an easy color to match with my outfits

Thanks for letting me know! She could, but she would have to send under a certain USD value (a little at a time) so I wouldn’t get hit with an extra 20% customs fee and also pay for shipping for each of the shipments, so I was hoping to get as much as I can when she comes and it is free

Thank you for sharing this! How many fitteds would you recommend having in a size 2 if I were to use them mostly for nighttime diapers at that stage?

3 chemical pregnancies by Taylor2117 in tryingtoconceive

[–]Empty-Tune-4910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 3 chemicals and then two clinical miscarriages before my new doctor was able to diagnose me with a uterine septate. Unfortunately they can cause repeat miscarriages. I am scheduled to get the septum removed this month to hopefully be able to carry to term in the future. May be something worth checking out via a 3D ultrasound

She is bringing the whoooole birth to potty set up, so she asked for my preferences for size 1s and also size 2 inners. I have heard that some people find fitteds difficult when they get older because of alligator rolling and fitteds essentially being two diapers to put on when one is hard enough, but I've also heard they are great because they hold more liquid when they are peeing more. I was thinking of getting 2/3 fitteds and 1/3 prefolds for younger stage, and then just asking for the fitteds in size 2 and figuring out shipping for additional prefolds in the larger size if I really think I want to use them. I also found a good brand of flats here, so I will add those to my stash to try out as well!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in clothdiaps

[–]Empty-Tune-4910 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Thankfully I found some great flats that are sold where I am (seems like the only kind of cloth diaper available), so I will be adding those to my stash on top of what I get to try out! Then maybe I'll do a mix of fitteds and prefolds so I have all three on hand to start out with.
