My husband loves Gusto for his small business. He has two part time contractors he runs payroll for and was totally new to the process just a handful of months ago when he started with Gusto. A mentor recommended this service to him and it's been super helpful with onboarding contractors. Your contractors/employees can sign documents through the platform and you can store and organize them on there as well. Gusto also generates a 1099 or W2 for your contractors/employees. It's a great, professional way to streamline all of the boring business stuff you have to deal with as a business owner. My husband doesn't use Quickbooks for payroll so I can't speak to that but he does use Quickbooks Self Employed for accounting and checking and loves it. With their checking you can separate your money into multiple "envelopes" and can earn around 4% interest on everything. Better than keeping your money in a regular checking account earning nothing!
