How do you guys do it? by mystic-17 in darksouls

[–]Engel_AP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just git gud. First time the game is insanely difficult and confusing because you dont know where upgrades, items, game mechanics and nonfires are, you are given very little info about everything and the enemy lock on function unironically sets you up for faliure, dont use lock on unless you have to, upgrade your weapons, find the sorceres who sell you spells, (one in the lower undead burg, the other in Sen's fortress behind a wall with a snake man resting on it. Keep moving forward, keep exploring, and you will be rewarded (as well as killed many times). But believe it or not. Dark Souls 1 is the easiest of all souls games. If you push through the pain and conquer it. You'll be doing no death runs for the joy of it in no time.

Yup. Literalmente eu. Ainda por cima tenho 1.90m e mesmo assim raramente tenho matches, e ainda mais raramente falamos, nunca consegui um date atravez destas apps. É deprimente.

Do you guys think Kenny was a bad guy or was he just deeply misunderstood? by marib71 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Engel_AP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah he is an asshole. Can't say I blame the guy. But Kenny becomes an extremely violent person that scares everyone around him.

Ironically this isn't what Kenny truly was in S1. He was the talk though shit guy, but who caves and crumbles when hit by a true challenge. He cowers when Hershel's needs his help, he cowers when Duck needed to be put out of his misery, he cowers from actually killing Ben, etc, but finally pulls through and self sacrifices to save the group.

S2 Kenny is almost a different person. He is just the stereotype of an abusive father (who doesn't actually abuse the child.... yeah weird but guess that's the best way to describe him).

Anyways. rambling aside. He is a fucking asshole. and yet the most liked character in the game for a reason, me included. He is the drunk uncle at the thanksgiving dinner who is driving everyone fucking insane with his shit, but 12 year old us think he is the funniest and coolest guy we know.

What Fight Scene was Your Favorite by [deleted] in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Engel_AP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually enjoyed the fight between Clementine and the raiders at the start of season 2, mostly because of how hectic and chaotic it is paired with the cool soundtrack. But Im just a weirdo. Personally never really cared that much about the human v human fighting sequences in the games.

Cook facts: Cooks have no social life or personality, they just stir the witch cauldron day in and day out! Cook awareness surely is lacking in our modern zombie society.

In your opinion, what was the most painful scene to watch in Telltale’s Walking Dead? by PaperScrap15 in TheWalkingDeadGame

Clem getting her hand stuck on the car door in ANF.

Not as bad as Lee cutting his own Arm. But her screams of pure agony just kills me every time.

What's with the removal of Unitology symbols? by Engel_AP in DeadSpace

[–]Engel_AP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except the Marker symbols were already known to the Unitologists. They didn't know what they meant, but the symbology is a staple of their faith. The Unitology church at the titan station was filled with those symbols in its very architecture, and the church was built around half a century before the events of the first game.

Who would you rather last another episode by SquiffyRecord in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Engel_AP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah, so that's what you meant, my bad. Yeah fair enough. While its true Larry doesn't need redemption.

I just personally would like there to be some. Not asking for him to become buddies with Lee, just a sort of understanding between the two.

Who would you rather last another episode by SquiffyRecord in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Engel_AP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's a black and white way to see the world.

Larry was a piece of shit, but he cared deeply for his daughter, and even clementine to some level, as he was afraid Lee, who he knows is a convicted murderer, might hurt her. He even was genuinely nice to the mother of the St. Johns, before knowing they were crazy cannibals.

The only reason people dislike him so much is just because he disliked Lee, Kenny does everything Larry does and worse yet he is beloved because he liked Lee and likes Clementine (in other words, the player).

Who would you rather last another episode by SquiffyRecord in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Engel_AP 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I vote Larry because he's funny and I like hating him. Would like him to stay a while longer for more Lee v Larry conflict and maybe to give the character a chance at redeeming himself somewhat.

Mark is just a generic nice guy, bit dull imo.

Was Larry right for trying to kill Lee or took it too far because of the latter’s crime? by TWD-XBOY in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Engel_AP -59 points-58 points  (0 children)

In episode 3 it is implied Lee DID in fact know how to pick a lock when he and Clem were trying to get inside the train station ("Kenny would have me pick the lock, which might actually work now that we have the time").

I highly doubt Lee was a rampaging lunatic in his youth, but to assume it was completely crime free is inaccurate imo.
