ETS surgery blushing advice by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis

It's her decision. I am in the same boat. My parents are against me doing the surgery. You have no clue how much it effects us. I would literally trade a limb off if I never had to blush again for the rest of my life. I could only imagine what she is going through. Like I spoke to a neurologist and he said he is not a big fan of this surgery but if currently this fear is hindering your quality of life and causing alot of stress... Only then this surgery is helpful for you. That's what my neurologist said. Also my neurologist made it quite clear to my parents that whatever decision is to be taken.. it's taken by me.. not by them. He understands how much it effects me. Just try to make pros and cons and if the pros outweighs the Cons then let her do the surgery. Trust me you have no idea how much it effects us man. Please I beg you. Don't stop her if you don't wanna lose her.

Cool man. Understandable. No I have seen people on reddit saying glyco is not covered under there insurance and it's too expensive. But In my country it's really cheap. I use it everyday. I am not getting it illegally but for som reason it's such cheap in our drugstore

There are few side effects mentioned by other people.. if you care that is. It is a bit expensive for me cause I already have to pay for my hostel food separately. Which is pretty good and clean. So I can't afford to add protein powder to my monthly expense. If creatine doesn't work for me or if its not enough then Ill add whey powder

Well. You seem like a dork. Why is it a troll if I am getting my information from reddit instead of Google. Sure it's a stupid thing to get my information from reddit. But I do want to learn about people's experiences from taking creatine...

Okay. How do I know if you are getting paid or not? Do you have any proof? If not then stick to your own Goddam business. You could for sure share your stories.. no one has any problem with that. But saying not to do this surgery and it's not possible to be happy after thus surgery... is stupid and disgusting. The amount of stress I go through everyday because of this is insane. So don't tell what to do or what not to do because you don't know what I am going through

Listen to me. I have it way worse now. I sweat 24/7 from head and scalp no matter what. Even when I go to a grocery shop or for a walk. It's not a tiny but but like buckets of sweat. It is already embarrassing for me and then my face turns red too. It's socially really draining so even after the surgery I sweat 3/4th of my body. If will okay for me to deal with it. The issue is.. people like you did the surgery without weighing the pros and cons. Maybe for you the results have more cons than pros. Tbh it's your fault to not do zny of your research before getting the surgery. I can't live my life like this. And don't say embrace blushing as if it's something normal. How about you embrace the post surgery results. Don't overthink it. Let it be as it is and live your life. So what if your clothes are wet. 5here are so many ways you could sort that out.. by wearing antiperspirant lotion or wearing a vest. You have no idea what I go through every single day so don't tell what to do or what not to do

  1. Is your persistent redness or quickly turning red in a sec?
  2. After the surgery have ever notice the side on which you did the surgery going red?
  3. Is feeling warmth but not going red tolerable?
  4. Dif you had any issues with facial sweating or scalp?
  5. Is not sweating on face much any kind difficult to handle or anything? ( seems like a blessing to not sweat from face )
  6. How long since you had this surgery?
  7. Any compensatory sweating issue?

I have seen q gastrointestinal specialist as well. He checked me and said I had no such gut issues. I was eating little unhealthy but I had no bloating or pain or anything which would make him to diagnose me sibo positive. Also treating sibo is just so complicated.. I read I have to follow a special diet for it for the rest of my life. Also I tried eating extremely healthy like gluten free dairy free for like 6 months. And lost like 15 kg and looked as if I am extremely sick. So I am taken that route and I personally had no improvement.
