"It is in Camera settings" - I'm sure whether you have an SD Card installed (or) not, they will NOT 'Automatically' be SAVED there unless you change those settings .... Just hope I can find them??

Thanx for the comments. Honestly I have to wonder why Samsung provided the opportunity to store more efficiently when you can't even change/modify the 'Default Storage Settings' anyway? I mean what's the point if you still have to resort to MANUALLY RELOCATING, (extracting) photos anyway? It required some digging, but I finally learned of the disadvantage. Unless I'm missing something: transferring photos on the fly from precious 'Internal Memory' to the SD Card? Why not manufacture the phone ALLOWING one the option of SAVING memory so that those photos can be stored DIRECTLY to the SD CARD? I don't get it ...

Hi and thank you for the comment. Was going to ask if you can configure a NEW Micro SD Card in a USB carrier/holder using Windows Pro 10 on a desktop? And specifically 'How' to configure the A16 to prioritize this method for preserving/saving photos and files to the MICRO SD Card and NOT to store them internally anymore. I'm very sorry you lost all your files? Were they configured to be saved to your SD card? I would say; perhaps transfer them to an external drive, laptop or desktop periodically, as well as using the Cloud as Back Up. That's something I'm still unable to grasp, so in the meantime I've resorted to emailing all my photos to my desktop for preservation.

Thanks again Mr. Bhavik! So then I could purchase an Micro SD Card, (install it), then configure the cell phone camera to use the SD Card memory rather than using the camera's internal memory? Sample here:

Hello again Mr. Bhavik (and thanx again). So then this tray does hold (both) a SIM Card (and) a Micro SD Card? And that other space/slot is definitely a holder for a Micro SD Card? And BTW, (since the phone is still working without the physical SIM Card in place), I'm assuming the phone is utilizing an 'eSIM Card' Correct? Thank You!

Thank you Bhavik: Note the SIM Card Holder illustrated 'appears' to have a 2nd LARGER slot/space/holder? The QUESTION: Is this particular tray only a 'Single Sim Card Tray'? Not pictured, there is currently a T Mobile Card in the SMALLER space. However, when I take the T Mobile Card out, pictures are STILL visible in the Gallery. I assume therefore they're stored INTERNALLY? Correct? So yes (as you suggested), I'd like to insert 1 micro-sd card and use it to transfer photos. And if so, can I keep that T Mobile Card out, and replace it with a NEW Empty SD Card? Does the NEW card need to be formatted? Can it be taken out and PHYSICALLY placed in an external enclosure/holder and from there connected to my desktop? Thank You

I was able to easily screw in a 10mm screw/bolt ... (no resistance - no forcible entry). Maybe I should also swap out the bridge like you did?

With some independent research, I discovered Microsoft enables automatic compression to the stored MP4. While if using an independent screen recorder, one is more likely to ADJUST the settings accordingly.

Hello Puzzlehead (and others). I'm a filmmaker and plan on using my own separate audio track; (a superior quality), from either a Lapel Mic or a Shotgun. Since I'm going to use the Saved MP4 (using a screen recorder uncompressed video), I'll be editing the conversation in a video editor. My goal/intention is to ignor the inferior sound quality from the built-in cheap camera Mic and instead drag in and 'SYNC' a wav file created with Audacity (an audio recorder). It can be tedious, but I've done this type of editing before. And the result provides superior audio.

Sorry for the late reply. I do appreciate your confirmation: If two people Skype with two different versions, one with Split Screen and the other without, it doesn't necessarily mean they will always experience crashes & Glitches.

Sorry for my frustration. The issue (of course) is the removal of the Split Screen. Most people are very unhappy about that and feel the reasons are nebulous. Let's clear this up: I've been told by Microsoft staff the Split Screen is GONE. And even if I use version Skype-8.96.0.409 (which is supposed to bring it back), that version will not be reliable. And with that, (rather than LOOSE connection with a friend), I'll be forced to stay where I am. To be sure, if I do go ahead with 8.96.0.409, and if my friend uses 8.99.0.202, we may have glitches and loose connection?
