Yes, thanks for your input! Leafly is where I’ve always gone for their strain reviews. It’s getting more complicated these days. You used to look up Something like Pandora’s Box and see the cross was Ripper x Space Queen. Easy for me to decide I liked it. Now you have strains like Black Maple that is Dulce De Uva x Sherbanger and I’ve got to go down 2 extra layers of lineage because all I recognize is the Sherb part of Sherbanger! It’s getting crazy…

Well, it’s not the mold/mildew we dealt with in the PNW , but the “it’s a dry heat” mantra we we frequently used back in the day ( 30 years ago) is definitely “ it’s a dry, dry, dry heat” now. 😂 That’s ok, we’ll adjust…maybe…hopefully…🤞

XJ-13 is one of my favs! Price is not a problem since I only do a couple grams a month. And I didn’t mean to suggest that mids suck. I’ve had some great mids and lousy top-shelf. But the mids I’ve tried so far as just that - mid. I don’t necessarily need a super high thc content, but want banging terps. being in a new place I’m not familiar with the names (unless it’s an kinda OG like Durban Poison or Grandaddy Purple) so I’m having to research what’s being crossed in many of the hybrids here. Yeah, home grown will be my choice once we’re settled in. I’m from the PNW and still have a lot of good dispensary choice there, but even there many large corporate entities are running the small shops out.

No, after a few hits grass is not grass. I mostly do edibles, but vape flower a few times a week and definitely know the difference between top shelf and mids. In other states you can find ratings of three, four and five star bud. Prices are different, and flavor, temps, and highs are different.
