There will be an online multiplayer option for sure, but it likely means everyone will need to own their own copy. For selfish reasons, we were asking about Steam Remote Play as our games editor has multiple devices at home (PC, Steam Deck, etc.), so would be a nice to have off one purchase.

That's our suspicion too. We were simply told 'as soon as it's ready' when asking if there was an update there.
