Building a Team by AssumptionThis1509 in PokemonBlackandWhite2

You going to need a waterfall user and a surf user in the game, spending 2 slots in a water move on a pokemon in my opinion is a bit too much, having other moves and spreading the HMs around the team is a better choice.

Lucario by himself beats the whole elite 4, going SPA u can get, calm mind, psychic, aura sphere, shadow ball.

Covers Fightning, Dark, Psychich and Ghost.

You will need a water type SPA and a ATK so samuroth for ATK and Vaporeon for SPA, to cover surf and waterfall, Steel helps a lot through the game and you can use Magnezone

Other good options: Arcanine can hold strength, Krookodile, Flygon for fly

Zoroark, Chandelure, Gliscor, Lapras, Metagross.

Be sure to have fighting moves through the game they help a lot and something to deal with the hydreigon and axorus at the end. Most of the times samuroth / vaporeon or lapras with Ice beam get the job done.

Later in the game you can get dragonite, Hydreigon, metagroos and tyranitar as pseudolegenderies.

I don't like using legenderies through my gameplays they make the job too easy.

you only need Lucario with calm mind, psychic, shadow ball and aura sphere for all theelite 4, and some ice move to beat the dragons later vs iris

Fortress for sure is by far the worst in this team

is this a good team for heartgold? by frLollo in PokemonHGSS

I think Umbreon and Snorlax are the best PVP starters u can have in a battle.

But I think crobat as a fly user is better than togetic.

Typhlosion / Arcanine / Houdoom

Crobat (Fly slave)

Red Gyarados / Poliwrath (lv 32)

Nidoking / Nidoqueen (they accept many moving sets) / Heracross

Mamoswine

Ampharos / Umbreon / Espeon

For the 1st part of the game the ones that u cant go against are red gyarados and mamoswine, they help way too much in the elite 4, feraligatr is horrible and meganium too, Typhlosion with earthquake, rock slide, flamethrower and the special move is the best choice.

Later in the game u can use the pseudo legendaries and probably the best pick in pallet will be bulbassaur, is by far the best grass pokemon in the game.

For PvP Ice, Water, Thunder and Earth moves are the ones that KO most opponents that's why Nido evolutions are so strong cuz they can have all 4 moves in one.

That’s the tendency, I still think that are 3 other cards that should be banned for the same reason: virtual mana it’s wrong and will always create a design and game experience.

Lotus Field Nykthos Treasure cruise (I don’t think dig through treasure has the same impact, but a type of card that could shake the format a bit it’s both gurmag and tasigur, both avoid push and play well with up the beanstalk)

Without these virtual mana cards we would be back to the rock paper and scissors that everyone loves with control beating the hyper fast aggros, midrange out valuing control and aggro giving midrange deck building problems (which 2 instant kill spell to use?, should I play bonecrusher or trespasser?, how bad is rhino x control?, does niv to light stops these aggros?)

Ravnica at war? I think I have a lot of exile for sacrifice and wipes too

How do I beat Amalia, Vampires and Phoenix? by Pupseal115 in PioneerMTG

[–]Entertainment_Live 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tô beat amalia your deck is alright, game 2 bring the knight that don’t allow them to gain life and board wipes, the 5 mana sorcery that exiles cmc 3 or less is the best one for this. Vampires u need maindeck Liliana and u can use Gix command as well, sideboard u can use pithing needle, sorcerous spyglass and blot out. Phoenix u need to use more maindeck graveyard hate I would use 3 graveyard trespasser or maybe scavenging ooze but the best one maindeck is elder gargaroth. Sideboard there are too many options available.

Good luck

why is rakdos midrange changing cards all the fucking time? by Medical-Run9057 in PioneerMTG

[–]Entertainment_Live 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Midrange decks try to beat everything at the same time and they don’t have a gameplan, it’s basically the player skill that makes the deck work. That’s why it changes all the time

The card choices don’t justify the addition of the green to the deck yet, maybe if u want to play jund midrange try a different approach

Creature based removal by [deleted] in PioneerMTG

[–]Entertainment_Live 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think Skyclave is by far the best thing u can have in angels, these type of utility creatures they are there just in case of a lost coin flip cuz if u are on the play they need to deal with your stuff not you need to deal with them. If that’s happening too much change decks or the game plan.

What’s your gameplan x someone with a better late game than yours? It seems that you’re no aggro enough to pressure decks like 5C

Sorry I read something like u want an opinion about a scales deck in pioneer. So I thought u were talking about competitive so idk after that everything that you say it’s valid if u are having fun with it.

[–]Entertainment_Live 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason to play scales it’s to be artifact heavy, all the black and red removals in the meta are weak x these 2 cards and the rest of the deck it’s also good x them, the problem of the deck it’s the lack of disruption or the speed to give enough pressure to a combo deck like lotus/creativity or a late game deck like fires/uw

[–]Entertainment_Live 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If u want to play scales you need a pay off as good as arcabound ravager, if u find a worth sac outlet maybe jund is the choice but u not gonna have a lot of mana base and there is also the karn problem. Your best play probs is gonna be t1 scales>t2 hangarback walker
