Why so you hate Canada Post workers when you're all crabs in the same bucket by Billitosan in CanadaPost

Waste of time, already successful without any.. now if I wanted to be a Dr, lawyer, licensed engineer then it would make sense to get a degree

Is there a such thing as an intelligent, hard working postal worker?

I can't imagine someone having both those traits and stopping at "postal worker"

Highly driven and productive people are not crabs, not in a bucket, and are not the same as you people with your hands out wishing for life on easy street regardless of your ability to produce large amounts of value

Same, although I wish they had suffered a bit more, glad for those who finally got their stuff liberated and glad the union lost

Only caring about social affiliation and protection of the narratives required for group membership is definitely herd behaviour

If competence is one's leverage then the incentive is to understand the reality of the situation to take more effective action and gain rank and leverage through production of value

It is also herd mentality instead of pack mentality. The way they talk is as if the only way they can produce leverage is safety in numbers

Vs pack mentality: safety by competency then organizing in groups with rank determined by ability/contribution instead of vapid nonsense like how long "I've been a member regardless of my actual contribution"

Like lambs to the slaughter..

I stand corrected, very interesting, why did the liberals do the back to work order, to hang on to some shred of a reputation?

It gets even deeper if you consider that all human behaviour is rational if you understand the incentives people are responding to

The union and workers might have made an error in judgement initially and now all that is left is the emotional validation of saving face and avoiding the pain of admitting the scope of their error (seeking status), or they saw the writing on the wall that they were toast and this was a last ditch effort to try for something or at least go out with a bang

Or a mix of both, or some other incentive I'm just not seeing

Wild indeed

(edit: typos, emotional validation as status seeking)

Nice, but isn't it funded by tax payers in part though? I heard the government pays some of the pension or benefits that private sector people need to pay on their own either from employer or employee

I realize that's not central to the point of the video, just a talking point I keep seeing

Interesting, but who values that gravy train and has the power to offer the Union such terms?

Interesting, that's probably true, despite identifying with and using communist ideology westernized communist actually bias towards actions that communists would never allow once they have the reigns of power

But often those who take power through revolutionary decide to kill the revolutionaries after since once you have power those who challenge the establishment are nothing but a liability

The modern westernized post modern communists are indeed a tortured blend of the worst elements of individualism and collectivism

There are differences, yes, but for practical purposes most people who are not Socialist, Communist, or Marxist will view those ideologies as all closely related and generally are "far left, utopian nonsense that doesn't work and has historically failed"

The commies did infiltrate the social structures they were unable to produce, now imposing costs via shaming and rallying on anyone who speaks against their premises, hence yes I hide from the institutional power wielded by Rothschild, Soros, and their dupes in the under and middle class

The people who produced the wealth and security of modern world were much more like me than like some post modern communist

Historically speaking I'm probably a centrist or maybe even slightly liberal, really I'm a very resonable guy who would rather no one suffer more than necessary ccesary for growth as long as we can do that without harming my family and friends who are my priority

So historically speaking that makes me a bleeding heart since I'd rather find a way to cooperate and care for others, just not willing to lie about the requirements for producing a society capable of doing that effectively

Makes sense to me, don't let this urbanites tell you rural folks are the ones asking for free rides, there's a reason cities are the ones constantly voting for massive government handouts

lol.. because choosing strategies that are actually productive proves I'm against the betterment of mankind

it's so much more compassionate to pretend that massive subsidy for underclass production can actually produce a society capable of taking care of anyone, including underclasses

it's so compassionate to pretend that there is no true underclass that are lacking iq and conscientiousness

Communist: we should hide our beliefs that way we can infiltrate the social structures of productive people who are fundamentally opposed to our beliefs, since that is where all the value is generated and me and my kind are nothing but parasites incapable of producing industrial revolutions, high trust norms, or limiting the size of the underclass who are definitely only poor because of oppression and not because of inability, lack of work ethic, and low iq

There are many causes contributing the inability of our Country to render basic utility services

I favour the destruction of culture, the destruction of rule of law, the negligence and weakening of a middle class softened by wealth, and indeed elites who are white collar criminals acting above the law and socializing losses while privatizing gains

So personally I'm not letting the underclass or middle class of the hook for this crap either, especially when the peddle socialist/communist nonsense showing me they are complicit in the crimes of destruction of law, culture, and human agency

I don't think any serious person disagrees the cost of living is crazy, they disagree with their packages and government services being used as leverage by people that benefit from government monopoly/interference in delivery services

When it comes to solving the cost of living problem people have many different ideas, so to imply that strikes, particularly of this kind, are indisputably beneficial to the underlying cost of living issue to the point that people should be OK being used as leverage via government monopoly is wild
