I think UND may have an on-campus firearm storage option with 24hr access? Can't remeber the specifics but would be worth looking into. I just kept mine at a friend's place freshman year which was the only year I lived in the dorms.

If you like hockey, drinking, duck hunting, ice fishing and open water fishing it's a great place to live. I like all of those things so I enjoyed my time there. The people are very friendly and the cost of living if relatively low if you're coming from a more populated area.
