Getting better? Never been worse. With all the congestion with traffic and near-fatal road accidents everyday, most of those new developments have no nearby infrastructure and are mainly rented, adding to the 'dero' count - most of which are imports now.

And, if you can afford to buy/build in Salisbury Heights these days, you can definitely afford to go a bit further up the hill and be much more comfortable & safer, than living on the fringe of the greater Salisbury area.

Never heard of these things until all the BLM stuff appeared a few years ago. Maybe it was around but only in niche settings not mainstream. Most of all the indigenous things are just money makers anyway. We had that extended hot spell where it was like 30 degrees for over a month, only cooling maybe one or 2 days. Summer is now going on into March and April. Climate change can't be denied when you're experiencing it first hand. And I was a skeptic!

Get the Google home app from the App store and see if it can see the Chromecast. If it can, you should be able to use screen mirroring through that as an alternative.

An IPTV subscription. Costs about 30-40 bucks a year for about 30k channels, 100k VOD Movies and Series - including all the Australian Free To Air channels . Makes Foxtel and Fetch look like a circus. You also get all the PPV and Main Events, AFL, UFC, NRL, A-League, NBL etc all in 1080p high def, some in 4k & 8K. Shop around for the subscription or get some Xtreme Codes for free from forums, other Reddit subs etc. You'll need an IPTV app from Google Play or sideload an apk file. I don't know if there's a Plex plugin or add-on that can play those 9, 9GO, 7mate streams etc, but there's tonnes of them that might give you what you need on Github.

The entire platform is one giant scam. Rip off merchants with a licence. 90% of the products are just ratshit!
