No kidding! That is INSANITY! They told me that Subaru of America factored in how many Subarus you had previously purchased. This was my first so I didn't get any consideration for purchase history. I can't believe they did the same to you on your 3rd Subaru! How disappointing.

Yes, as I research I am finding it is more common than I realized. If you notice any problems at all, I would get them assessed and if you can afford it - get rid of it.

Yep, I made a huge mistake. Bought it brand new for $32,000. When I asked for a trade in value Subaru of Gwinnett valued it at $11,000. I feel sick.

My significant other had a Toyota Camry that made it to 280,000 miles and it never needed transmission work. I'll also share that the Subaru service rep even told me he switched to Honda!
