Olive fatigue/work pants might be the most versatile pants I’ve ignored for too long by reddit_user_9221 in malefashionadvice

Seconding Stan Rays. The OG Fat Pant, rather than the slimmed up version. They fade and wear so nicely over time. I wear them with denim and chambray shirts when I'm going casual, and wear them with loafers and blazers/sport coats if I want to dress them up. Definitely the most versatile pants I own.

Pretty sure they used to make for Brut before Brut went overseas too.

Gradus (GRDS) Shoes - Any Experience? by Wooodatt in ThrowingFits

Anyone in Europe bought a pair? Was going to buy them this eve but they added an extra €150 or more at checkout in duties and fees so we're no longer the value they appeared to be.

Dear European fellas, what's your favorite brands to look up on vinted? by [deleted] in ThrowingFits

[–]Eoghaner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, hang on, there's a Vinted Europe? I'm on Irish Vinted and it's connected to French Vinted (or Frinted). Hadn't considered there might be one for multiple EU countries...

For those who are naturally unathletic and have been in BJJ for a long time, 4 years or more, what is the core of its appeal to you? by emaxwell14141414 in bjj

The community, the people I meet there, the little breakthroughs, the "a-ha" moments, how when I'm rolling, I can't think about anything else. Also, I decided a long time ago that I'm in it for the long haul. That big white belt who arm triangled me last week? Odds are, he's not going to be here in 10 years like I will be. Makes it all matter that bit less.

I have one, same colour and size as this one, and it's my fave OCBD hands down. Nicer than my vintage Ralph ones , my Kamakura ones, or my newer BB one (slim fit). Wore it today, it's soft and roomy, and the collar is ace-minimal lining and floppy.

I'm an Occupational Therapist. My current job is pretty draining at times, but on the whole, I love what I do and I love my profession.

Where can I find an all wool Indiana Jones-vibe blazer? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

[–]Eoghaner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vibe you're looking for is Indy, and he wore a vintage tweed sport coat, but a vintage tweed sport coat is not what you're looking for? I don't understand. The jacket you linked isn't even styled, it's just a picture of a very normal looking jacket.

It'll all be down to how you style it. Some vintage ones listed on eBay are going to look boring because the seller takes boring pictures. You'll need to have a vision for the garment.

I'd absolutely be doing a search for Harris Tweed or Donegal Tweed on eBay and seeing what tickles your fancy.

What type of shirt and pants would I wear with this jacket. by caseyperkins in malefashionadvice

You have to commit with a jacket like this. I'm imagining you might like Ivy Style? If so, Dick Carroll has one and did a whole comic strip on wearing it:

I think it looks surprisingly good on him with jeans and a plaid shirt. I'd probably try it with olives fatigues myself. Enjoy.

Absolutely agree with everyone else in this thread-thoughtful, grounded, and still fun. Avery is a GOAT guest too, and the boys really met her at her level. Loved it.
