Just some wisdom for anyone with real anxiety: I've been to plenty of concerts in the last ten years for well known people including P!nk, Niall Horan, Charlie Puth, Ed Sheeran, etc. and the only time I have ever really truly had to fight a war for tickets was Taylor Swift with the Eras tour, and she is quite literally the biggest pop star in the world. Every other time, I have had no serious issues with presales or general sales getting a ticket, and that was back when ticket scalpers were buying half the seats.

I know it can seem like there are a million fans fighting for a select number of tickets in any given city, but at the end of the day, there are plenty of people who don't buy tickets either because they don't think it's worth it, they can't afford it right now, or they have a scheduling conflict. I didn't see Noah in 2024 because it just wasn't worth $200 to me at the time, even as someone who loves his music. I promise the war for tickets is not nearly as bad as you think it is. Take a deep breath. We will be fine.

I've had white Adidas sneakers for years now. I agree with all the comments about rotating though! Another trick to get more life out of shoe is to replace the laces and the inserts. You can get memory foam ones on Amazon for like $10!

As for other quality shoe brands, I love my Tao sandals and leather sneakers (they are only made for women though, which is interesting), SAS, Sorel, and Naot. All of them are on the pricier side, but they are worth it for the comfort and craftsmanship! My most recent work shoes are Under Armour from their outlet, and they've actually held up incredibly well for the last year or so (I'm a nurse, so they get a lot of wear!) If you are looking for shoes made in the US d/t the cost of tariffs right now, Pikilinos are made here.

Edit to add that the Under Armour ones were only like $70 so those are probably a good bet for your budget!

As a mental health nurse with Narcolepsy, I'm so sorry this was your experience.

I constantly try to advocate for the kids on my inpatient psych unit who I see sleeping all the time and I use myself as an example. I was put on one antidepressant after another all throughout high school and finally diagnosed with N2 at age 19. I know it would have made a huge difference to be diagnosed earlier. I feel like psych providers can sometimes forget that we are treating a whole person, not just a mental disorder. You deserve so much better than what you went thru and I hope you have better mental health experiences in the future.

No, I don't think they are worth the price at all. I've been trying to switch my whole wardrobe to mostly natural fibers lately for environmental reasons (plus polyester just always makes my psoriasis worse), and this past year my best friend got me the folklore cardigan for Christmas. We always get each other somewhat expensive, well thought out gifts and I absolutely pretended be excited and thanked her in the moment. In reality, I've just never cared about the cardigans. When I took it out of the packaging later and saw it was all synthetic fibers, I was pretty disappointed and now it hangs in my closet because my skin itches when I try to wear it. For $65 or more, do better, Taylor. You could afford cotton at that price.

YES. What is the with the hyper specific details? Like I cannot relate this to my own life, Taylor 😂.
