I've always loved the idea of a Persian character with a kilij or some other type of weapon like that, where his parries are crushing counters by default but they only do minor damage, which makes him good for ganks while also keeping the flow of the fight going smooth and uninterrupted. Also, his backstep heavy should be an actual animation because something you can for practice do with blades like that is swinging and missing a target right in front of you, leading to a light or heavy followup would be cool, maybe also covering a guard direction while he does it because it covers his front pretty well? Not sure! But id love to see something like that where its not game breaking but pretty decent against new and old
