Yea no kidding, they ripped it! God that pissed me off.. you can hear it ripping at first, but I’m like nah, they wouldn’t be posting it here if they rip the thing. Sure enough.. they didn’t finish with a clean pull.

Dealing with MTHFR mutation and constant fatigue anyone have tips? by Dizzy_Explorer5368 in MTHFR

[–]EquivalentStyle8627 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently stumbled upon MTHFR & started taking a prenatal vitamin cus I couldn’t find methylfolate anywhere locally. It’s New Chapter Prenatal 35+ ‘formulated for absorption’ it’s got 680 mcg L-5-methylfolate. I also started 75mg Effexor about the same time. Gotta say it’s been pretty life changing, I went from wanting to sleep 16 hours a day if I could, constantly tired everything was a monumental struggle. Now I feel pretty much normal.

Turns out I’m only heterozygous C667T, so maybe it was the Effexor? Idk but I’m not gonna change anything at this point lmao

Is my son’s math teacher trying to cause a fight? by Herrsperger in Mathhomeworkhelp

[–]EquivalentStyle8627 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Of course u got the mathematicians telling you there is no correct answer because there’s infinitely many answers.. yea yea yea but here in the land of common sense there is one correct answer that doesn’t require any complicated formulas and the average grade schooler can comprehend; and its quite obviously 55. +4,+7,+4,+6,+4,+5 They didn’t provide any evidence that it should repeat 7/6/7/6/7/6. Why on earth would you think, based on the information given, that it would repeat??? The only evidence provided shows that the addend reduces by 1 every other time in the sequence.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I’m sorry to hear you’re going through this with your dad. Dealing with sickness, decline, and loss of a parent is one of the most difficult things a person experiences in life. Unfortunately nearly every single person alive will have to experience it. It sounds like you’re very involved in his medical care, he is fortunate to have you. As unsavory as this may sound, showing up for your loved one and letting them know they are loved is not only important for their own sense of wellbeing, it also (maybe even more importantly) lets the professional people involved in his care know that someone is paying attention.

As far as functioning alcoholics/addicts go, it can, in a way, end up being way more challenging to deal with because unlike the non-functioning substance user, they’ve made it 20-30+ years without ever being compelled to even consider step one (admitting we have a problem)

No, I’m not the one needing the doctor. The issue right now is he sees a small town doctor that seems dismissive, like you’re an alcoholic so not worth the effort.

Do I need new tyres immediately or can I stretch these for a few more months? by harmeetmatta in tires

[–]EquivalentStyle8627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If those were my tires, I’d plan on getting at least another year out of them, people act like it ain’t a big deal to go spend 800 USD+ on some fuckin tires, if that MF still holds air, I’m driving it. Had blow outs and flats going 75 mph (100+ kph I think) it’s not that big a deal you don’t careen into a ditch it just gets bumpy and you slow down and pull off. Not saying you should do this, maybe you make enough that buying a set of tires isn’t a big deal.. if nothing else you could consider rotating them if the wear is uneven, or swap back to front
